OP - sorry dude, The Mittani resigned of his own volition. He stated he would and followed through.
That's how democracy works, if a winning candidate (for any reason) can not serve, there is no revote.
You should take pride in the fact that The Mittani outlined his 3 steps and followed through. The only thing CCP did was issue a 30 day ban.
Nothing clever at this time. |

If you actually read anything he said anywhere, he only resigned the chairmanship. CCP twisted his wording in the dev blog. Glad to see you did your homework though. |

next time vote for a real candidate like darius and you can sit back and listen to your barry manilow cassette tapes all day long secure in the knowledge that you voted for a candidate who will serve his entire term.

I absolutely agree that the entire CSM should step down.
Not because of poor little Alex getting what he deserved. But because the CSM failed:
* to act in a timely manner * to recognize that his removal from the CSM was absolutely necessary * for offering support to The Mittani to remain on the CSM after he took the weak step of resigning only from the chairmanship and not the entire CSM * for failing to be 100% behind his removal from the first minute you saw the panel
Every single one of you WEAK CSMs should resign immediately and let the entire team of CSM alternates to step into your shoes... immediately.
Of course, you won't, because you couldn't figure out "the right thing to do" even if someone were to post it under your nose for you. http://eveprincessbride.wordpress.com/ |

Your vote was cast and it was accepted and counted as part of the whole process. The fact that there was an incident involving a CSM delegate that has forced CCP to remove that member from office bears no meaning on the voting process. None of the other CSM members were involved in said incident, and yet you call for the vote to be redone? Face it your man screwed up, the quicker you guys learn to accept that fact the quicker we can all get on with the serious business of internet spaceships! Spot on - with damning, publicly available evidence, the need to 'discuss' it amongst the CSM is a show of weakness. The fact that you don't stand up immediately against such outrageously hateful comments towards another human being shows everyone the type of people you are.
Even people in positions of real political power don't sit around for days discussing something so damning. |

Of course they frigging do. Everywhere. ALL THE TIME. Where the hell do you live? Besides, you're contradicting yourself. The CSM is hardly a real political power, so by default they WILL take an age to "discuss something so damning"...
@OP - I would have liked Mittens to stay on the CSM but hey, no amount of protestation is going to change things now. We can be quite sure CCP took legal advice before they made their decision, so any amount of claiming shennanigans are going to hit a brick wall.
It's done and dusted.
Now get your sh*t together and go burn Jita. Most of Eve is planning to come watch The box said "Requires Windows-á2000 or better", so I installed Linux. |

"Where the hell do you live?" I live in a country where if someone asked to further an agenda to see someone commit suicide, every political position in the country would instantly turn against them. There would be no discussion.
I have to ask though, where the hell do YOU live that people have to think about this? |

To all the bad posters bumping my thread: Thank you.
I knew obviously that D3 (rabid goon hater) and Isler (first on the emo kneejerk bandwagon) wouldn't step down in support of having a new CSM election to allow the 10000 to revote.
My plea is to those CSM members who have more than two brain cells to rub together. Particularly Seleene, Two Step and Vile Rat. What are your responses? |

Nixon was the peoples choice here in the US.
He resigned. No one was disenfranchised. There was no "re-vote."
