Isn't that a form (allbeit harsh, uncaring, whatever) of consolidating under one alliance?
Yes, BoB abandoned alot of alliances and corps in the process, but also took alot under their wing. But no, it wasn't only BoB defending Delve, they have become reliant of other corps/alliances. I suppose current allies of BoB wish to be in the latter group when tides turn next time :)

so by your reasoning bob and by association the GBC should be a democratic utopia where everyone has their voice heard and respected. where everyone's opinion is special and unique.
this is not the case.
bob is a war machine. we are pointed in a direction and we get results. we take the cream of eve into our ranks, to join our brotherhood. this is just the natural order of things. you might as well hate the sun for being bright and snow for being cold. the strong take what we want cause we are strong and the weak bleat about it cause they can do little else

Good post Eskalin.
There are different ways to do it, different approaches how to handle recruiting and alliance relationships in this game. Similarity is that all alliances in this game need allies and friends. Difference comes in treating the allies.
BoB recruits openly best players from its allies, and throws weakened allies out after exploiting them (or keeps them as renters). While northern block has openly welcomed similarly thinking smaller alliances to live side-by-side, with differing mutual defence pacts.
I think there are pros and cons in both approaches. What I do not understand is the constant denial and hypocrisy about BoB not needing allies.

I think this should be more of a "grats" to Goodfellas thread than an omg BOB is so evil for destroying Pure.
Goodfellas won the surrender of Upper Dek only from Pure., are honoring their agreement, and Pure. isn't dead, yet.
As was stated on some unofficial forums, Goodfellas are independent of BOB now, and wave old friends there o/ Elf, etc.
The only disagreement with the BOB posts I have is that BOB members are "special"... I've seen the BBQ pics
Pure have suffered the same result sooo many alliances have of trying to hold 2 separate regions, *especially* during War Time.
Credit's already been given to TRI and BOB, so can Goodfellas keep up as a 0.0 power? I'm curious to see o7

Omg we lost 20 caps but we killed 100 including 8 motherships and Titan. We suck.
And we decided to log off from game. A internet computer game. Then to log on into it when we had time to play. Then we decided to log off again. And then on again as we had more time to play. And when we logged in holly cow!!! We were not in POS location anymore.

Yes - using exactly same exploit razor used to get out their titan from our "**** cage". Double standards, bitter alt?
That was smart game play...they als
o did that with the Roq that was stuck there if I recall correctly...but hey, when its Tri or GBC we are cheaters and exploiters etc...when the NC does it...its smart game play...
Perhaps CCP could fix this obvious exploit, when titans and moms are suffering the same sort of unfortunate multiple disconect in a row as freighter pilots seem to get a lot.
Solution is simple - always warp back into same spot
Reason CCP wont implement it?: /me barely holding back bannable rage outburst
SKUNK
Boggles your mind, doesnt it? Theres a realistic way to kill supercaps in a direct combat way but ccp leaves this logoff thing in the game, well, since forever.
Btw there was a time when bob wouldve lauighed bout using a tactic like that but rather come in to bust that camp and get those caps out the proper way.
And eskalin, cream of eve - id say that times over since the mass lv recruiting, i dont see bob players being more experienced pilots above the usual alliance guy that knows his shit, what makes bob strong is the leadership. -

Good job at completely missing point of the post idiot. But then again you are a MM alt so i forgive you. You should teach us all what real life is. You should also teach us all how many regions and members of NC you had and how many you have now.
Once again... Idiot.
Also to the guy from IAC who also missed point of the post i will simplify it. Yes we used a log on log off mechanics which is totally legal mechanics in a computer game to save whatever was "trapped" in bubbles where pos was. Yes we also had a laugh at NC gang waiting on pos for us. I personally got my Dread out by that mechanic and it works like charm. Props for NC for furiously camping our dead pos location for days tough. __________________________________

As predicted, Pure lasted almost 3 hours and then folded while their allies battle on. At least hydra decided to try and fight to the last rather than cut and run like these cowards.
Also for the ill informed, Goodfellas are not GBC anymore, so its not a victory for MAX at all as the stations are going to another hostile entity.
That said the Goodfellas have restrained themselves from trying to take the undefended stations bob leave in their wake and are focusing on NC held ones.

Originally by: Absu Tagari The best solution that I can think of is to change the layout of 0.0. All pipes should go through NPC 0.0 space with the conquerable space branching out of NPC 0.0 (oh the joy to the pirates! Make 0.0 entities form convoys to move supplies.
That's actually a good idea, but I can't see CCP basically redesigning the whole map to do it. Having empire surrounded entirely by lowsec, and then lowsec surrounded by NPC sov 0.0, which is then surrounded by conquerable 0.0 would be an ideal configuration, with increasing rewards (truesec) as you go farther away from highsec.
It would make logistics more difficult and give smaller groups an avenue to make an impact on larger alliances as they travel. As it stands now, some alliances can setup a jump bridge network 1 jump out of highsec and as long as they make the first jump, they can travel in relative safety all the way to their destination.
To balance the problem of chokepoints and prevent camping 1 gate to cut off an entire region, there would need to be multiple links between neighboring regions though.

I mean, whooooooooooooooooooouha! The GBC finally made 3 alliances implode when more than a dozen GBC alliances were left to die.
