Maybe they were testing to see if they had super powers? 7 weeks in hospital to recover from being hit by a truck and the other one walking out the same day after being hit by two cars?... Hard to say if they do or not!

As to the body being strong because these girls survived is not the "truest" statement. The reason that the first survived and the second could get up an run is probably that they were under the influence of a substance, thus when they contacted the vehicles they were much less likely to tense up. Bodies that survive terminal velocity falls are do so, not becuase they are strong, but because the individual was passed out or somehow able to reach a zen like state of relaxation, so as the forces are dispersed throughout the body more effectively. Uhh, have you noticed how it's a high-quality camera for the most part, at eye-level, moving around? You know, like a regular TV camera? We have cameras on the motorways here to see just what the hell is going on if there's an accident, I can't see anything wrong with that. It's much more efficient to know what's happened at an accident or indeed if there is one at all so traffic control and the emergency services have an idea of what is best to do in the situation. Either way, my workmate got really messed up because of this and eventually the stress from the trauma led him to early retirement. I doubt it. A gun is "lethal force", any other use is cruel. You either fire warning shots that are not meant to hit anyone, or you fire to KILL. Intentional wounding shots is a criminal offense in most parts of the world I believe. Only the Terminator aims low =) On the other hand, intentional head shots sounds strange too. This article was posted a few days ago. Watching that video, at the very end, it states one twin recovered after 7 weeks in the hospital. So either this happened earlier than a few days ago or we already know she'll be in good shape in 7 weeks. By the way, the info given in that original BBC link really sucks. No names, no ages, no other info, just that somebody played in traffic. OK, onto part 2: The knife murder. I racked my brain trying to find any info on this and the closest I found was this link and this link. The article is dated August 16th with the attack taking place on May 20th which would put the attack before the highway incident, not after. My 2nd between the 2 articles is that it states the stabbing woman jumps from a bridge on the highway suffering 2 broken ankles and a fractured skull and those lovely crazy ladies looked as healthy as could be to me (before they ran into traffic of course). Am I missing something here or are people getting the stories mixed up due to the myriad of forums all saying the same thing?

Not knowing the terrain I googled mapped it and it looks like the A50 and the M6 run parallel to each other and are just a little over a kilometer apart or so. Also in the murder suspect article I linked it says nothing of there being a second person. Other than this there have been no updates on any news website that I can find about these 2 and you would think that if one was a murder suspect it'd be all over the place.

No, it's more that if the situation has escalated where you have to kill someone, they have ignored all warnings to stop and are either crazy or just plain stupid. Provided there is good oversight to stop police from just unloading on people for no good reasons, I'm fine with them killing suspects. Citizens seems to have the idea that all people can and should be reasoned with, eve when it endangers everyone around them. Sometimes, this is plainly false.

Again, around here it isn't a capital offense to be mentally ill, in fact it is a mitigating circumstance as it is in most civilized nations where the 'crazy' people are held to another standard. However, a gun is a method of lethal force. There are alternatives and intentionally using a gun to neutralize a threat in a non-lethal fashion is like trying to pull a trailer full of timber in a Ferrari. And the Ferrari is on fire while doing so. I think there are only a few uses of guns and that is to intimidate and to kill. If you shoot someone and they live but can no longer fight, that's fortunate, but you shouldn't try and accomplish this consistently. Use a taser or mace if you think there is a reasonable chance to neutralize a threat with those tools. I believe the use of hollow point ammunition was to prevent over penetration as the reason given by the Swedish police. FMJ can easily cut straight through the flesh and exit in an uncontrolled fashion. The wound is also relatively mild and therefore less effective. Hollow point ammunition opens up like a flower and cause much more grievous wounds, but as the bullet is deformed it slows itself down, staying inside the body. Whatever ammunition you use, the decision to pull the trigger is the last and most absolute one. If you do not intend to kill, you use other tools that are meant for non-lethal force. _______ Griefing is to ruin a friendly game, which Eve is not.
