I have an alternate character that is dedicated as a hauler. I suspect many of us have these specialists as well.
I am curious to hear opinions about what you consider the ultimate hauler alt.
My hauler:
1,737,987 SP
Skills trained beyond creation levels: Anchoring 1 Engineering 4 Energy system operation 3 Energy management 3 Shield management 2 Energy pulse weapon 1 Energy grid upgrades 2 Tactical shield manipulation 1 Shield upgrades 1 Mining 3 Learning 4 Iron Will 3 Analytical mind 4 Instant recall 4 Spatial awareness 4 Mechanic 2 Hull upgrades 2 Repair systems 1 Navigation 5 Afterburner 4 Fuel conservation 3 Acceleration control 3 Evasive maneuvering 3 High speed maneuvering 1 Warp drive operation 1 Science 3 Cybernetics 1 Spaceship command 3 Gallente frigate 3 Gallente industrial 5

My hauler alt has the following hauling-related skills:
Gallente Industrial 5 Navigation 5 Evasive Maneuvering 5 Spaceship Command 5 Acceleration Control 5 All other nav skills at 4 (Total of 2.2 mil in navigation)
For the sake of fitting more mods on the Mark V: Engineering 5
For protection: Shield Operation 5 Shield Upgrades 4 Mechanic 5 Hull Upgrades 4
She's got a LOT more lv 5s than that (23 total I think), but these are pretty much the only hauling-related ones.

Well with that amount of skillpoints you can rather call it an alt. More a main alt.
My hauler alt has 107.000 skill points and only about 10 hours training under his belt. If you do it good during character creating you can make a char with space ship command at lvl 3 and the race frigate skill at lvl 4. So basicly all you have to do is train the indy skill and you have an hauler alt. I admit the only thing he can do is hauling but thats what he made for isnŠt it Plus you can use all your training time for your main.
Just my 2 cents

Ahhh yes. We all need those lovable haulers dont we. :) My hauler has lots of skill points, so maybe you can't call it an alt, but here are his skills....
Electronics 5 Electronic Upgrades 5 Industry 5 Refining 5 Refining Efficiency 5 Production Efficiency 5 Mechanic 5 Hull Upgrades 5 Navigation 5 Evasive Maneuvering 5 Science 5 Research 5 Lab Operation 5 Gallentian Starship Engineering 5 Gallente Frigate 5 Gallente Industrial 5 All learning skills except charisma are at 5, training Metallurgy to 5, and a bunch of other refining/transportation skills at 4. Like I said, kind of large to be an alt, and branched into research, but one hell of a hauler!

We are talking Alt on one account or Alt on a separate Account? I ask, because of the training of one guy at a time, on one account...Thus you couldn't train your hauler to Level 5 whatever..if you main is training...Almost sounds like you would need a separate account for your hauler to make it 'perfect'

I would recomend training spaceship command also to level 5 , it really makes the iteron V align much quicker to warp.
Your Mega Afocal Pulse Maser I perfectly strikes Asteroid (Veldspar) [R0ME], wrecking for 798.3 damage.
Your 425mm Railgun I perfectly strikes Guardian Captain, wrecking for 685.9 damage.
