They did it again.
"Azia BurgiÆs cemetery was destroyed earlier this week by the JihadSwarm faction of GoonSwarm. Dozens of corpses have been stolen and several surviving caskets have been defaced.
Forgotten by many, the cemetery was the solo project of Azia Burgi. As reported in an article early this year, Azia ôàthought it was a little sad that people just left their victims corpses alone in space after such a violent death. ô Azia began collecting these corpses and placing them in secure ôcasketsö to be anchored in her cemetery.
The report of her cemetery project sparked some interest from the pod pilot community, and the number of donations has produced a staggering backlog of 5,000 corpses. Jay Marshall remarked: ôThe EVE Cemetery is a monument to those fallen in battle. A place where one can go and say those final words they would like to the fallen, and even though we are in a clone-age, where one really doesnÆt die, the bodies entombed around the cemetery are both a reminder and warning about our own mortality."
Unfortunately, the cemetery also attracted the attention of Karttoon, leader of JihadSwarm; ôI ordered JihadSwarm to destroy the Cemetery in order to set free the desecrated and defiled bodies, stolen and trapped in mass graves to be put on display and gawked at as personal possessions of a vile woman. The deceased must be buried on planets, wrapped in our ritual shroud, and positioned to face in the direction of the temple of QuÆLah." [Sesfan Qu'Lah was a revered GoonSwarm CEO -ed.].

its really pathetic that goons dont have something better to do than vandalize a cemetary.
I know maybe they should learn the meaning of agape vs holy war. Yeah right never happen.

It's a well known tendency of juvenile and non-dominant males of many species, including humans, to want to stir up trouble and wreck what others have built as a way of compensating for their lack of any real power in the social structure.
Be glad that both BoB and Goon are blowing up people's pixels, rather than writing graffiti on walls or slashing people's tires. Nice that the game keeps them off the streets.

It's not like it's a real cemetery or anything. Pretty much every pilot whose body was there is still "alive" in another body unless their account has been deleted.

This is just another example that Goons are running outta stuff to do.
They are attacking something that cant attack back, and previously they attacked miners.
Sounds like they are just little kids that are reaching out and hitting anything they can in order to get attention. Lots of little kids, or adults that are acting likt little kids.
Maybe they should find something better to do such as, ummm, well,hmm...dont know what those idiots could do.
Just my opinion, so let the flaming goons and their alts jump in!!!
