It'd be interesting to hear a similar timeline of events from the NC commander in charge to count for the interesting strategy employed and placement of capital cynos.

I've seen this point about some NC dreads shooting things while not in siege thrown around alot, but it just seems too much to swollow. NC posters seem to say they never loaded and thus couldn't siege...
Did anyone manage to take & post a screenshot of being shot by said unsieged dreads after the crash? Or did I miss that in this megapage thread already...
Otherwise it just sounds like few GBC caps got shot by something doing meaningless DPS they could easily tank -- and that could just as well be 5 BSes since you can't tell the different between the damage produced by 5 BS and 10 Dreads out of siege  .

Are you being serious?
I sure as hell know the difference between a dread targetting me in my overview, and a battleship. And I suck.
Obviously you've never been in a lagfest fight on the other hand... Stuff usually shooting me isn't on any of my overviews in situations such as described here...

So you think it's easier to swallow that BoB somehow hacked the server and blocked the NC from logging in while allowing their own members to log in and load grid?
Did I say that? I think it's easier to accept that all NC caps were mostly blackscreened or lagged out and never went to siege because they couldn't.
As to the reasons why some BoB were not -- well, in my experience whoever holds the system holds the advantage to lagged out fights. Brute forcing your way in at the last minute rarely ends well... |

You forgive me if I don't take "our spies told our FC that they've been ordered not to siege and he said this afterwards on TS, thus I'm writing it here" at face value.
I was merely asking for confirmation on the subject as I've not seen it before, thus link to said NC cap pilot post or screenshot of someone taking dmg from a dread was what I was after to finally put my mind at rest :). |
