The actions of the EVE community and CCP around this whole entire series of events disgusts me. For almost a year now I have been struggling with Severe Major Clinical Depression. I have stuggled with contemplations of suicide and self harm. And to see all of you whiteknighting an individual who used suicide as a means of manipulating people disgusts me. The Wis is not a person with depression, he was not a truly suicidal person, he used a threat of suicide to try to make the people ganking him leave him alone.

The mittani's crime in this? Mocking him for lying about comitting suicide to manipulate people. I support the mittani in this. The wis deserves to be mocked and harassed mercilessly for being such a complete ******* as to mock those who are truly suffering from depression and struggling with suicide by using the threat of suicide for social manipulation. And the fact that CCP and all of you are bashing the mittani and supporting this pathetic tool is disgusting. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

This man is 47 years old, if he was actually suffering from depression, and if this game even has the potential to add to that depression then he shouldn't ******* be playing it. Him even mentioning suicide to try and get people to not gank him is ******* disgusting and utterly pathetic. And so are all of you. You all disgust me.

The way I see it, is Clinical Depression and Suicide are nothing to joke around about. Period. Whether you believe it to be true or not, it's never worth the risk. Mittani has been seen as crossing that line because he disregarded the risk. Some people will say silly things regarding suicide when they are in a state of decline or in a situation where they feel helpless. It doesn't mean they are and it doesn't mean [sic] that they aren't [sic].

Last I checked, The name of the Character IN GAME was relased, not the real life name. There is a big difference that everyone seems to purposly overlook...

Seek help, leave the game, and pull the plug on your computer, that is the best advice I can give you.

Yes I'm suffering from depression, I began conteplating suicide, so I got help. I did not however threaten to commit suicide to people who blew me up. I've lost billions in ships, cargo, etc. But never would I use the threat of suicide to try and get someone to not blow me up. Check my killboard, go ahead. It's wonderful. But I'm not of any delusion that this game has an affect on my actual life. And if getting ganked ever once made my depression worse, or caused me to contemplate killing myself, even for a second, I would no longer be playing this game.

I have crippling depression spells where i can barely move and all I want to do is take my mind off of it and play some games.....THE LAST THING I WOULD DO IS FLAUNT IT IN GAME AND TRY TO USE IT TO MY ADVANTAGE. I want to forget about it for a few hours and have some fun.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, This is not a game you bring personal problems into, its a game your supposed to just enjoy and NOT attach yourself to it as if your life depends on it. You have a problem if being killed in this game causes you so much depression, stop playing, this is not second life.

Being blown up if it all, should throw you into a blood thirsty rage and begin planning your revenge to blow other people up screw them over etc.
