There are rumours that this ship will be available in caldari militia lp store, other state ships in other faction's militia lp stores.
The price will be 1 million lp and 50k vicotry points for a 1 run bpc.

I believe the OP is thinking of my thread in Features & Ideas forum. I have not heard any rumour, besides my own SUGGESTION-thread, that would indicate the ships ever entering the game this way...

Keep in mind that you would have to do Faction Warfare missions for those 1 million LPs, so it would take far longer, due to the visibility of a FW mission for all pilots, friend and foe alike

CCP doesn't mass-release Unique ships. I'd like to buy a Federate Mega, but I really really doubt it will ever happen for less than about 90-120 billion from a player.

CCP Greyscale once stated here on these very forums that he suggested that back when the LP store was in its initial desin phase. And he also said he got tared and feathered for it.
I doubt they changed their mind.

According to my source it's currently still in discussion, some devs don't agree and throw chairs and coffee cups at each other, but it looks like those devs that like to bring this ships are winning the battle .
It might become a little more expensive as a tradeoff though, some insist on adding at least an additional 5 billion isk to the cost of the ship.

because it makes so much sense to have these things just sit in ppls hangars and get traded around for 80billion isk apiece 
from a person that has played this game for years, i can see the logic to wanting to have some very very rare items in the game.

Looking at the big picture converting a once-unique ship into a PvE grind reward isn't that big of a deal, but it is one more way of watering down this game IMO. It'd be fine if every once in a great while CCP handed out some highest-tier battleships to individuals who actually accomplish something meaningful in FW... which in the current FW system is impossible because there's nothing that comes close to approaching the dynamics of nullsec sovereignty rewards.

Given the number of 500k LP faction battleships currently in service I really don't think that the price of a million LPs for an even better ship would dissuade anyone from grinding for it. The only obstacle to using them is that they require racial battleship 5 IIRC, but dedicated mission runners most likely already have that skill.

About 4-5 days if you run missions 10h+/day. I made easy 150k LP/2days while chilling in empire and waiting for JC timers.

I'm all for it. Yes some will end up being PvE grinders, but whatever. I bet you'll see more than a few on a battlefield also.

Oh and another point, 1 million LP are... well... the new subfaction pirate implants (virtue, harvester, centurion, edge, nomad) are 721k LP each for a full set.
Last time I checked, virtue sets weren't rare at all, unless rare is 3-4 always on contract.

Ye in empire it's easy, with a faction pimped CNR 100k a day are possible, but FW missions are in lowsec, no pimped ship. Also they have long travel distances, you don't do them in something bigger than a cruiser for too long, before caught at gate.
So either team-missionrunning or doing lvl 1 and 2s, maybe level 3s in a cerb, which is quite risky. But even the small ones will take long because of the traveltimes, so its way harder to get FW lps compared to 0.0 or empire missions.

I guess the pricetag pretty much eleminates the idea to see such ships in battles. Maybe some peeps replace their nightmares with the new faction ships for highsec missions.

The stats of those ships were balanced to the fact only a couple would ever exist on the server.
If, and it's a really big if, they actually become more obtainable, expect them to be pre-nerfed. They're just too powerful for "common" use.

To be fair, not everyone would be fitting Entity's Estamel-equipped State Raven setup. With lower-end faction and deadspace stuff, the kind of thing rich people might risk in PvP, these ships would still be highly killable. I mean, if a relatively small gang can outgank a Dread's protection they can certainly out-gank a highest-tier Battleship.
I still think it's a bad idea to put these into open circulation via LP stores though, even at a million LPs. Keeping them limited to unique RP-related events, or rewarding someone for some fantastic or unique accomplishment in-game, would be fine. It'd just be sad to one day see people starting whine threads containing screenshots of four dozen State Ravens on scanner in a mission hub.

Yea id have to agree state ravens may be cool in all but they are not invincabale and im sure if another corp found out you had one theyd wardeck you just to gank it from you.
But i doudt the state raven will be actually in a LP store especially for 1 mil lp because ive heard a state raven costs more than a titan..
