Whats your views on casual gamers and how would there application's hold up?
People like me who can't log on for hours on end every day//week, (my play time can be from 3-4hours to 10-20 hours a week, all depends on my lovely missus and work)
Would i be wasteing your time putting a app in or not ? Cause i have always admired veto and have//had a friend in there who always spoke highley of you (mirkel)

It's not impossible to apply, it's just harder than clicking a button. I never said it was going to be easy to apply to join the corp, those people who've posted applications have crossed the first hurdle, one way or another.
Resourcefulness goes a long way.
As for Recruitment, it's still open for a further three days. Consider this a final bump from me.

20M here... and mostly Yar, but enjoy protecting (Dominating) a given set of systems with non-dominating people. High value on RL (family and COO of RL corp) so play time is focused. Timeone is EST, available most weekend nights till 1a and some weekday nights till 11a.
Strong recon and tackle skills, can fly fully T2'd BS, very low on ISK though. Gallente only!

The corp will be three years old in about three weeks, has never disbanded, reformed, shut down or come back under another name.
The member count in [VETO] and [VETOA] is basically our number of active players, across 23/7, with only a couple of people away long term for family and RL reasons.

A serious question for you guys... I flew around the area where you live for a few weeks a little while ago and all I ever saw was Veto in large ships camping gates. I didn't run into anyone engaged in small gang/ship PvP or any sort of belt piracy at all. Do you guys do any of that stuff or are you generally the battleships-on-gates type of pirates? |

Pretty much.
While I won't give away tactics, we regularly schedule large scale ops to get new members a feel for our heavier class gangs. What you no doubt saw was a group of us waiting for a report back from our scout. Generally we'll stop at a gate while doing this, hence you seeing us all bunched up.
There are corps in our area who actively sit and camp gates, but I'll confirm that Veto has basically the next best thing to a blanket ban on gatecamping in effect.
I don't believe it's the best or the most skilled way to score kills, and there's pretty much no tactics involved other than knowing what range to be at. I'd far rather my members get out in the field and earn their kills than sit and get lazy and complacent on a gate all day.

A common misconception to be honest. We have weekly ops, which usually have high turnouts which sometimes result in large gangs. Almost all are tailored for a very specialized role, and range from inty ops, cruiser ops, bc ops, recon ops, as well as specialized bs ops. We however don't organize gate camps or sit on gates simply waiting for people to come through.
Most likely what you saw, was an active roaming gang, holding on a gate waiting while scouts (myself included) were probing/scanning and getting intel.
I dunno, yall quite frequent the mara/piekura gate. But Piekura is high sec?
