Hey Skywalker, of course I remember Elite and all it's varients :) --- I'm pretty sure half the peeps in the thread probably do too.
If you've seen the CCP interview video, you'll find EVE was inspired from that game alone. There is no online game out there that matches EVE like Elite does with this much detail, freedom, size and scope!
To date it's by far the most interesting, and biggest game I've ever played. Yep I've been around since the Atari arcade/console era, C64 and the rest. :P --- I'm totally addicted and cannot stop playing. Long Live EVE!
