The mental age is more important, 12 year old kids can behave in a manner any "grown-up" would be proud of while a 54 year old "grown-up" can throw a tantrum a 3 year old would be horrified at. N.B. Anyway I have escaped and spent the last hour working out the average age of everyone whoÆs posted here so far in a desperate attempt to stop humming. So, ignoring the guy who thinks heÆs 215 and a couple of others who didnÆt actually include their exact age there were 110 posts with valid numbers in them. I remember "upgrading" to the Coleco ADAM which was basically a glorified colecovision console with a cassette tape drive which I only had one game for (Buck Rodgers and the planet of ZOOM or something like that). If you've seen the CCP interview video, you'll find EVE was inspired from that game alone. There is no online game out there that matches EVE like Elite does with this much detail, freedom, size and scope! To date it's by far the most interesting, and biggest game I've ever played. Yep I've been around since the Atari arcade/console era, C64 and the rest. :P --- I'm totally addicted and cannot stop playing. Long Live EVE! Badgers, Mushrooms & Snakes

Let's just say there are large lapses of memory from ages 19-22 while discovering the joys/pains of partying. And a typo with the US/State govts that has officially changed my age (as they refused to acknowledge corrections to my actual birthdate enough that I gave up over a decade ago).
