...that your stacklessIO crap doesn't work. 250 people (in system on a node that you were told in advance would see a fleet fight, and that a gm confirmed had been reinforced about 2-3 hours ago) is enough to make it so that after you take the 5 minutes loading grid, then 10 minutes spamming warp to pos, then three minutes telling your ship to cloak, you will still die to an enemy you never saw on grid, let alone locking you.

I have seen systems with 300-400 be as playable as with 30 ppl and systems with 200 act as if there was 800 over the last little while.
the perfect lagless fight is out there and ccp is bringing us closer to it, but GOD IT HARD TO WAIT FOR THIS SHIT TO WORK sometimes.
im eagerly awaiting the next big patch which will hopefully incorporate everyhting they have learened recently -

Well try this. 30 guys cyno to a system to gank a carrier sitting agressed dockrange. System we are jumping to has 4 pilots in it. Jumping takes over 2 minutes so by the time first guy loads new local the carrier has not only deagroed and docked, he has also logged. When cyno went up to go home I klicked "jump to member" and nothing happened. I just sat there for 15 minutes surrounded by my allies who all reported having jumped out. Had to relog, get back in fleet and get on a new cyno because I was in a system with the massive amount of 4-5 local. Great new servers there m8. On their news it can handle 1200 pilots, in reality it cant handle 30.

Something is definetly wrong with the systems here. We actually managed to lag out a system with only 20ish people just traveling through.
Usually if something goes wrong with the servers that affects gameplay the players get told what it was and why it happened and that the problem has been fixed. Now we know there is a problem, but what is CCP going to do about it and when? All I have seen is that Jita is more manageable now but everything else is botched.
Its really sad to see systems and nodes die when there is less than 100 people and not a single big fight going on anywhere... But hey, I like playing ship spinning on station and logging in once a week to check my skills. Atleast I got time to play RL now.

That's pretty poor tbh. We had like 250-300 in system last night that hadn't even been flagged for being buffed up and the lag was playable.
Ah well, shit happens. Hopefully CCP will up their game soon.

So yes they where it seems... dedicated node!...
So am I assuming that the aggressor convo's GM CCP that we are going to RR a pos or the fact it is already in RR mode flags CCP to improve the node in the event of a major battle ensuing so the elements of surprise is not that your foes turn up but if the GM's reinforces the node in question... depending on Alliance pos'esno doubt!.

Jita can handle 1200 guys it was capped as once you go past that the node ram overflows and crashers. And it can handle 1200 becoue it has its own node, unlike 99% of the other systems in game.
The system you jumped from and jumped into most likely has more then one system running on that node, so even it there was only 4 people in the system it will still lag if theres 400+ people in other systems on the same node.

He's right. How many node crashed did we had last month? How many fights where manipulated by CCP #1 functinoality named lag? And jita cant handle 1200 peeps. 3/4 of them are docked and AFK. The day 1200 peeps undock in Jita is not only gonne crash the node, the whole region of all of eve will crash.
So again a message to CCP. Skip walking in stations, skip new features, skip nerfing nano.
Fix the game so fleet fights can be done!
Those who complain also need to do some suggestions: - Create a fleetmode UI. This optimizes all settings for big fleetfights. - Skip fighters and drones in fleetfights. Or create fleet drones and fleet fighters. Each ship one drone or one fighter with damage of drones a ship can release. No mixed types though. To bad, but no one will care. - Double DMG and double RoF in fleetmode - Fleetmode automaticly comes with more then xxx peeps in local. - After a node crash, the fight is over and system is closed. Means peeps who login, will end up in their home base (you have a clone station and a home station to end up after node crashes) - Fight big fleet fights in special nodes. CCP should implement 2 or 3 node clusters for big fights.

yeah but overtaking the same avatar 50 times on the way to the lifts which take 6 mins to load your hanger while waching the isk selling spam in chat will be even more awesomer.

LAG is a very old concept invented by players to abuse CCP kindness under the following forms:
1) claim a ship losses and ask for reimbursement 2) use it as an excuse to justify poor PVP abilities 3) find another pretexte to post petitions to overload the CCP mailboxe.
So, dear friends, stop those collective (hint hint) halucinations about fake LAG and may be you should consider playing Scrabble instead of Eve.
Not to mention for the pure souls that this is an ironic post...

Friday 10-10-2008,
Void. starts a small 15m roaming gang at 22:30. After checking the map we went to a quiet spot in syndicate. Noticed the 250 in 15w- 161 in MSHD- and 360+ in M-O at the time.
The road through empire is nice, lag free, everything goes fine. Lowsec jumps, 1minute to 1 and a half of jumplag/warplag. First 0.0 jump. no lag at all.
2nd and 3rd are ok aswell. 31 people in local, 2m delays. continueing 12j with empty systems. 1-2m delays.
Trying to enter the destination - 3 node crashes in a row, 20m blackscreen, stuck petitions awnsered, nodecrash, 20m blackscreen, waiting on stuck petitions.
Either way, StacklessIO doesnt promote ****ALL in 0.0 warfare. Because 500+ blobs lag, but so do 15m gangs.
Best thing was. wile passing through Tama we watched local being at 400 wile 2 faction fleets nuked it out with Pandemic Legion. Carriers, Fighters, Battleships, the lot was there.
No, Lag, At, All.
CCP, its time you start degrading empire nodes and start switching them over to 0.0. Just because 5000 people want to be in Jita at once, does not mean the 5000 people that live in 0.0 should not be capable of playing.
Tbh, im starting to wish for times when Remote DD's and the usual exploit runs screwed with your playtime. Atleast you could COUNT on that shit to happen and you were actualy WATCHING your ship explode.
In the last 3 years of "need for speed" we've seen "degradation of speed" Plz bring remote DD's back!
