So I see nothing surprising that CVA do that as well. I especially like the excuse - "YOU ARE A PIRATE, THEREFORE YOU DON'T DESERVE A HOUNORABLE APPROACH!!!1". Main thing is tho, that everyone growls about being blobbed in pre-aranged 1 vs 1 while doing it themselves when ***** hit the fan.

It's an erroneously posed question. I never call anyone griefing me socially inept. You have deluded yourself into thinking you're griefing anyone here on the forums. You're not. You are providing entertainment for a slow day at work, but that's all. I don't know the details of the conversation, because frankly it's not a lot of my business. I do know that the behavior as presented was unnacceptable by CVA standards. That's obviously not good enough for most of the audience here, and that's fine as most of the audience here has every interest in disliking CVA anyway. As for the corporations that shoot at/are shot at by TRAPS...their behavior is not a major concern for us nor a controllable factor by us. CVA isn't concerned with personal grudges in a video game. TRAPS are pirates (self-acknowledged), CVA shoots at pirates...that's the high and the low of it. It keeps things simple. We're not the moral police of Eve...we're just a player organization like anyone else. We don't cast judgement on pirates as players and attack them for those reasons, we merely have an established in-game roleplay identity of fighting pirates. Likewise we don't cast judgement on the folks we "defend." If an organization is making homophobic insults etc...that's just not an issue one way or another. If that organization does not pirate, we will not shoot at them. If that same organization is a victim of pirates, we will protect them. The circumstances surrounding the conflict (the personal grudges reflected through foul language and insults in particular) are of no interest.

Out of the last 10 corps we dec'd for smack talking, every single one of them had "CVA FRIENDLY" in their corp bio and most all of them ran to Providence to hide when Empire was too hot to handle, banking on CVA's blanket coverage of assistance to all "anti-pirates". I can see why so many people think bad of CVA even though they have limited interaction with actual CVA corps. It's the user crowd that's bringing the CVA name into the mud. Again, as you said, you can't control it, and CVA has no interest in dealing with it just to keep it all simple. It just comes with the territory.
