I apologize in advance if this question has been asked 42 times before...
Are there random loot drop tables in this game? When running level 1 missions, I usually come back with several items worth anywhere from 100 to 15,000 ISK. The other night, I ended up with something that sold for 10 mil ISK. I don't even remember what it was :)
I hope this happens again soon because with another 10 mil, I could finish off my learning skills.

Back in '04 I picked up a Local Hull Cargo Expander from running an L3 mission. Sold it for 27mil - a very tidy sum for a six month old player back then.
Loot drops are probably random but constrained. I imagine there's always a chance of something really valuable dropping but the higher the value the lower the chance.

Missions always have a chance of something valuable dropping, some lvl4's can havea few 100mil loot drops. But these are rare, dont spend all your ISK in one sweetie shop

Also depends on the "flavor of the month" club which all the "cool kids" want to be part of, changes prices a bit
