Hello Capsuleers,
The Secure section of the EVE website is undergoing essential maintenance presently and it is currently unreachable. The issue concerns a problem with the server at our billing service provider and we are in contact with them to solve the issue and get an estimation on when we will be back up. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope to have the secure section back up as soon as possible.
A news article has been posted in the Player News Center.

Update (2008.10.14 14:44:00): We're still working with our billing service provider to get an update on when this will be sorted.
If you were planning to cancel your account today but you're unable to do so and you are billed for another cycle, please create a petition in the Billing & Account category and we will cancel your account and reverse the charge.

how about that you sort paying from Serbia so we dont have to waste isk to pay subscriptions which we would rather pay with $... im kinda ****ed off with that since i do not want to spend isk on my subscription, and yet i have to since i cant pay it via cc...

So if the account management page goes down for "maintenance" and my GTC/CC/Deb. expires does my skill automatically stop training ?
I consider myself to be a loyal customer and would be very upset if server issues and bad timing were to be the cause of training time losses.
Would I get reimbursed for the loss of training time or will my account be considered as a ghost account although I am a loyal subscriber ?
Maybe a short term skill queue could be implemented for people in my situation.

Well either CCP were expecting loads of people to re-sub their alts or they were expecting loads of people to cancel their accounts. Whether they were hilariously optimistic or braced for the obvious backlash, today of all days was surely the day to make sure the account server was "reinforced", so to speak.
Still, it does add weight to the "**** up not consipracy" theory. Maybe they genuinely didn't realise how many people this would annoy... which is a whole other issue. Lost touch much?

why wasnt this stated in any of the posts informing us of "ghost training removal"
my beef with this is now gone, apart from the "twas a bug" when its blatantly in your player guide as a feature
