Iv been hearing alot about incursions and the money they can bring in :) so id like to where where one stands if they want to start doing them. I can fly all BC as well as caldari, amarr and gallente BS.
Iv heard that ECM works in incursions and my skills are not bad with EW so would that be a good start point? Would like some help on this as i have little to start from :P Whats the best ship to use, fittings for it and how to actually do incursions would be great, as all i know so far is that they look very difficult and everyone shows up in expensive flashy ships.
FYI: I can fly both the basilisk and guardian with logi 4. |

Train Logistics to V and your Basilisk will be welcome in any shield fleet. |

Yup logi is the way to go and for DPS (shield) i don't think you can go wrong with a nightmare. While not the highest DPS on paper, it has the highest applicable DPS hull in vangaurds. |

Run incursions with my basilisk till i can get the money to buy and fit a nightmare. Thats seems to be the way things are working at the moment xD

I second the notion that you should go logi for now as the DPS status quo might be shaken up considerably by whatever the "incursion iteration" includes in the April 24th patch. Logi will always be needed though, safest bet. Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either. |

Legion, Mach, Nightmare, Vindicator, Logistics are top picks for vg's.
If you want to go for bigger groups like HQ's then you might want to do massive tank with ecm. Navy scorp, Rattlesnake.
Almost anything else will be sub par.
Other ships that still make the cut but are not top choices are: Navy BS's, Tier 3 BS's, tengu.
Good luck. |

Tengus are not particularly wanted I have found.
Lokis are the only really desirable T3, due to there webbing bonus, and even then a Bhaal is preferable.

Tengus make excellent drone-bunnies and anchors for HQ fleets, but that are only two spots for a 40-pilot fleet. A good entry-level ship for HQ are Rokhs and Maels, they are used fairly often and are relatively cheap.
I wouldn't go ECM. They are the #1 casualties, even with experienced pilots in shiny Widows and such. http://go-dl.eve-files.com/media/corp/Tobiaz/sig_complaints.gif
How about fixing image-linking on the forums, CCP? I want to see signatures! |

This is my current Basilisk fit, Decent resists across the board but i feel like it wouldent really hold up well in the fights. Anyone got any suggestions for it? |

Sir ... May I show you the Legion shipline. It comes in golden finish and many optionals.
For incursion line of work ... its the best of the T3 due to awesome effective dps.
Your welcome. |
