I remember stringing streets up with razor wire then herding everyone through them.
Oh the good old days. Shame EA has its hands on it though, they can only ruin the franchise.

this was the first computer game i could actually play... and it was really fun.
down side....

The good auld pirate bay has a certain iso 360mb :P And thanks to DOSBOX I've been playing syndicate wars there for the last few days.. Freakin cool game tbh..

Also I doubt EA will let it be the proper adult game it's supposed to be (not to mention to be as good as syndicate or syndicate wars it needs to be a hard game, something EA is not interested in).

It did look that crap, but back then we had 14 or 15 inch monitors so it looked better :>.

Yes in 1996 i was 13 years old bud, so didnt have a computer so why it look bad on the PS, also that video in on the PSP. I did however have a Playstation (pretty much was my mates but lived there). Thanks Mrs Barber!
Anyweh, seems many have similar memories of this game, EA better not ruin yet another classic. They are messing with good memories, dont **** it up EA!

Love that game!
In fact, I (re-re-re-re-)played the whole thing a year or so ago (on a VM).
Was excactly as great as I recalled it to be.
Love the sound of them mini-guns

Weird. I remember checking up Syndicate on wikipedia a little while ago, but I can't remember my reason for doing so. And then I began reminiscing about using that brainwash thingie to get a bunch of civilians to follow me, enough civilians and you could get a copper, enough coppers+civilians and you could get military people.
And then I'd just make my little coalition of the willing run towards the enemy agents... AND HELL WAS UNLEASHED UPON THE INNOCENT, THE STREETS FLOWING WITH THEIR DELICIOUS DELICIOUS BLOOD AND OTHER BODILY FLUIDS!
Yeah, that game was good.

Syndicate O_O I loved the first one, syndicate wars not as much. But thoose two games still have sit close to my heart when I think back...
