Changes were made to CAOD in an effort to stimulate more interesting and intelligent discussion. The role of that forum should be for major Corporations and Alliances to discuss political and military conflict throughout the New Eden Galaxy.
The first steps taken by the Community Team are to implement a blanket ban on all NPC Corporations posting in CAOD and to remove posting rights from Corporations with a member count of less than 10. Experience taught us that many players were using "alt" Corporations to circumvent the no NPC character posting rule and often those "alt " Corporations lay on the same account as their main character.
Work will continue in the clean up of CAOD, and the forums in general, in order that players can discuss important and interesting topics without the threads being derailed by alts, off-topic, spam and trolling replies.
As always, I would encourage players to use the "Report Post" feature to bring any threads or posts of concern to our attention.

What makes you think this will happen when most of the crap posting is done by the big alliances and corporations? You want to clean up CAOD? I suggest you kill the whole thing otherwise it will stay the cesspool it is.
I already stated previously that the changes to who can post was simply the first step in revamping CAOD.
The next part is when the Community Team go visiting on a daily basis and clean house

I for one welcome our new overlord and look forwards to many Alts getting slapped about
It is not about "slapping alts" or "issuing threats" but moreso a process to encourage and evolve pertinent, interesting and discussion worthy threads in a part of the forum that is of substantial interest to many of the larger Corporations and Alliances in the game.
The days of spamming meme's or rehashing tired old cliches in order to knock a thread off topic will be dealt with harshly. That is not a threat of any kind but simply an intention of ours to improve and enhance forum content.
Anyway - I am much too big of a softy to threaten anyone
