THIS IS BULL****. My corp yes only has 6 members but WTF.
I myself like to be updated in the politics of EVE and make myself heard...

I think losing the input of Hybrid Syndicate is a fair trade off if it cuts down on one-man zinger corps. |

Tbh, I find it unfair. We are a small alliance of 5 corps and we also have 2 faction warfare corps attached. 2 of the alliance corps + the two FW corps have less than 10 members and so they are now unable to represent their alliance in CAOD. But the executor corp of our alliance isn't intended to have 10+ members!!!

I think this is a good improvement over the old situation,
there arent many active corps out there with less then 6 ppl in it,
and if you cant get over 10 with noobalts - tough ****, i rather have less alts in caod.
Altho some really harsh mods cleaning up caod would do it more good.

CCP... that wasn't a very wise move.
I'm a solo player. 1-man corp. Why don't you take a look at my history and records and determine if I'm just a crap-posting alt or a real player? Go ahead... take a look.
And now, I can no longer respond on one of your forums which I (admittedly occasionally) have an interest in? Where my friends from Syndicate and other places still post?
In my position, how would you feel? I believe this is called 'throwing the baby out with the bathwater'.
Sometimes you guys make decisions which stun me.

Changes were made to CAOD in an effort to stimulate more interesting and intelligent discussion. The role of that forum should be for major Corporations and Alliances to discuss political and military conflict throughout the New Eden Galaxy.
The first steps taken by the Community Team are to implement a blanket ban on all NPC Corporations posting in CAOD and to remove posting rights from Corporations with a member count of less than 10. Experience taught us that many players were using "alt" Corporations to circumvent the no NPC character posting rule and often those "alt " Corporations lay on the same account as their main character.
Work will continue in the clean up of CAOD, and the forums in general, in order that players can discuss important and interesting topics without the threads being derailed by alts, off-topic, spam and trolling replies.
As always, I would encourage players to use the "Report Post" feature to bring any threads or posts of concern to our attention.

I already stated previously that the changes to who can post was simply the first step in revamping CAOD.
The next part is when the Community Team go visiting on a daily basis and clean house

I'm going to offer a more substantial reply, and then I'll get out of your way. After all, it's your forums.
As a one-man pirate corporation, I can no longer respond to politics in your forums. Read that again. I can no longer discuss Eve politics on your forums (since threads dealing with politics are moved to COAD).
Do you really believe a solo player can not affect the political landscape of Eve? Or even has the right to voice his opinion?
I believe the correct response to the current mess on COAD should have been more intensive moderation and increased punishment (bans). Not corporation member limits.
Anyway... it's your show. I'm just a visitor. Run it as you choose.

Nae, Cat, it is just because those in small corps or solo-players are not intelligent enough to participate in the intelligent CAOD banter... hmm.... and any member of Goonswarm is highly qualified based on the number of members in their corp.
