Edited by: Frakri Hogsto on 01/07/2004 02:41:00 Seeing as i've seen an awfull lot of hate mail latley, and some nasty things said in local, i'd just like people views of what they think of HUFF Technologies.....GOOD or BAD
Please ISD (Polaris, or whatever you are now) don't delete replies, as our corp wants to see all responses from other players/corporations. This is by no means a publicity stunt, we just have no idea of what people think about us

I wub Huff :)
You have a couple of people tbh who do your corp no favours at all but in the main you're a good bunch. Frak you're too sound a guy to put up with the one or two immature idiots who ruin your rep sometimes.
You've the makings of a great pirate corp with a good tradition and mostly respectable rep. Get rid of the idiots and you'll go far.
That's my honest opinion.

Edited by: Cowboy on 01/07/2004 06:10:37 For the most part, Huff seem decent. Since the war there has been zero smacktalk during our fights that im aware of.
True there have been some incidents in local prior to the war which were attributed people "playing drunk" and running their mouths. But setting those incidents aside, Jehred (SP?) and even you Frakri along with some others seem like good folks.
One thing people need to remember, and this goes for both sides of the fence.
You can have the best run corp with the best members, but when a couple of folks start a bunch of $^!&*, it refelects bad on both you and your corp. Remember some people tend to focus on the negative and will not forget incidents, no matter how hard you work to to fix it. Their perception of your corp will be their reality no matter what you do.

Huff Tech: pirates who began their career in the 'Bloody' Sarum Prime days. Recieved serious beatings from anti-pirate corps. Learned and adapted from older pirate corps and older pirate players. Eventually moved to 0.0 space. Fought many fights against other pirate corps and anti-pirate corps. Many members began to leave the corp due to their involvment with FE. EVE Marshal pirate information acquistion lost contact approx. 2 months ago after leaving the Providence region and due to the declining activity of Huff Tech as a pirate organization. Successful infiltration by EVE Marshal personnel of both Huff Tech and Bloody Hands corp lead to most of the information provided. Bloody Hands corp eventually collapsed due to misinformation and misdirection by 'seeded' Marshal. 'Seeded' agent then recruited by Hanns of BIO-Mass corp. Current Status *secret*
Huff Tech: -Successful at 'ganking'. - around 90% successful at engagements when having vastly 'superior' numbers -In early days showed pitiful attempts at local 'smack talk' -Early days also showed unsuccessful setups used by members -Many Huff pilots fell for combined Marshal/Deathstar/FinFleet and Celestial Apoc traps
Current assessment of strength and skill of Huff is under evaluation. As well as intentions of the corp.
Normally I dont provide the information that we gather on rat corps (and ofc alot of info was excluded) but I felt it was necessary to post it here. In case Huff is going the honest route I want people to know the history of Huff before dealing with them. If intentions are to be good citizens of EVE then best of luck to you all.

Frakri, to be honest it doesnt matter what EVE community think of huff, the only thing that matters is what your corp mates think. You can waste a lot of time on the forums defending your corp from people who hardly know u,or know anything about your corp.

LOL Kirin. Never fought them, though I know they are hanging around vale choke points. Once we clean the TPS outta Vale, we'll come check you guys out a little more intently, like Kirin was saying.
Seriously, I like pirates, they make the PvP fun, and I hate smack in local...lets just kill each other for fun. Man, that sounds kinda sadistic doesn't it?

Edited by: ThunderChicken on 01/07/2004 14:57:57 Huff needs to invest in some Sensor Boosters. Tried to target me a few times while running around in my Rupture, but I pulled a Brave Sir Robin, since I knew that more of you were lerking around. I am a low yield target anyway, best you would have got from me would have been some Robotics and Consumer Products.
Although I have to thank you for that wake up call, I was about to fall asleep at the wheel until I heard the targetting lock sound going off. Have fun.

Nah, that wasnt me. The closest I was to 0.0 was Harkonen, but you did try to lock me outside of the station there, but I quickly tucked tail and re-docked. fun though. couple of days later, you guys were "kicking back" at the gates, and I managed to slip on by. Although I have to thank you for that wake up call, I was about to fall asleep at the wheel until I heard the targetting lock sound going off. Have fun.

If your talking about outside DED station in obe i had a lock on you (at least i think it was you?!) for a while, was just deciding weather you were worth the hastle. At least now i know you wern't
Nah, that wasnt me. The closest I was to 0.0 was Harkonen, but you did try to lock me outside of the station there, but I quickly tucked tail and re-docked. fun though. couple of days later, you guys were "kicking back" at the gates, and I managed to slip on by. Sometimes it is better to look "mostly harmless".

I think it's kinda funny how, say....mebbe 9-10 months ago Huff described themselves to me as "a mining corp who can defend themselves and aren't afraid of chasing a few pirates around"
Look at you guys now.

Guess your inside huy is getting tons of info.... since most of us hardly even log on hehe

I had a huff apoc run from my rifter, well I think it was me, might of been the 7 celestial apoc tempests behind me, who knows.
Honastly, when huff does decide to fight, I enjoy the fight. They're hard to catch off gaurd, they don't lock up when ganked. (they fire back!) Frig pilots are all top notch. The blackbird gank of 04 was a blast.

Guess your inside huy is getting tons of info.... since most of us hardly even log on hehe
Nah it was during the time (several months ago). Infiltrating is boring, fighting is fun! Remember Shi' Aden?

The few i've encountered have all been knuckledraggers, with a decidedly simian look about them. And quite slow to boot.

time is the fire in which we burn. |
