Quit hogging their seemingly non-existant bandwidth thinking anybody wants to hear what you have to say. Not commented on the servers so i aint a whiner ^^ ..but in reply to your post.. The forums are lagging because at least 50% of the playerbase can not play eve without latency / discon issues. ALSO the start up message in eve LINKS to this topic about the problem so of course people will come on here asking/whining! If the forums are lagging (although for me they're fine) it won't effect the eve servers at all as these forums run on completely different servers to that of the eve server! Basically people will come on here to look for answers (especially if CCP have pointed this topic out on the startup message!)..all it takes is for someone from CCP to spend 2 minutes (yup a whole 2mins! .. 1min if they are a fast typo!!).. to jus update us, it will then stop these forums being spammed with the same thing! CCP update post = less whines & usless posts & keeps us informed. No CCP updates = alot of spam / questions & people jumping to conlucsions & getting frustrated! I know which i prefer ;)

This was made as a "create it & ** it" topic! let me explain \o/ ..... EvE servers having major probs... guys at CCP know soon the forums are gunna get flooded with posts all over the show.. So they decide to CREATE a topic themselves & link it from the start up message within eve. Devs make 1 post & leave it OPEN for people to reply.. they know people are gunna whine/*** QQ etc etc.. so they thought it best to have it in one topic than 1000 all over the forums ^^ which i admit is a clever idea :P Lets face it, if they made this topic to keep us informed as they said, the 1st thing they would have done was LOCKED it & only update it themselves! Not make one post then let people spam it! Chances of devs even reading this topic is gunna be slim let alone reply! lolz.. So from the devs PoV... Mission Complete \o/

I know things like this happen now & then but surely one of the above wont hurt CCP's pocket especially the skill training speed & in turn will keep most of it's customers happy & this episode will soon be forgotten! :) true & i see what ya saying m8y.. but we aint asking freebies, we're simply asking for time we've lost due to the servers being down (be it play time or training time!) ah well.. your prob right, but one day someone at CCP might wake up & realise customer care is #1 for any company... online or not :s only reason imo why they get away with is because atm theres no other mmorpg like eve really so CCP have the monopoly so to spk!... but sooner or later one WILL pop up & i can bet you then CCP will do all it can to keep its customers...including giving freebies! :s
