Same for me... Running ping traces... anywhere from 5-40% packet loss, can't get past loggin screen.
You all know that ping, ICMP packets, can and WILL be the lowest priority on a switch/wan router don't you? ping times are NOT the way to calculate anything. |

Originally by: JAZ239 Well thanks a lot CCP, I just came back to the game yesterday after quitting World of warcraft.
Wish I hadn't.
Just lost my main cargo vessel with all the tech II bits on it and I have no way of replacing it.
Thanks a bunch for that guys.
I'm off to resurect my WoW account.
Well that's your own fault there buddy. Getting into a car with a warning light that says "Tires are loose, they will fall off" and driving 70MPH down the high then wondering why you are now dead as your tired came off and ou flipped the car 8 times.
Hrmm who would have thought.

Originally by: Omnoms I love all you guys losing ships, I personally think it is funny that such idiocy should be rewarded with a loss.

Originally by: CCP Wrangler This is mainly an issue on our end I believe. There appears to be some general internet issues as well tonight but they shouldn't be affecting that many people. Our network guys are working on a possible fix for this, but we'll just have to wait and see how it goes.
Well it doesn't do us any good to hear that a CCP official "believes" that it's the problem. Give me cold hard facts on what you have tried, what you are trying, how many servers you have investigated, what "tools" you guys are using to find the problem (cause all development houses should have some sort of tool to check their clusters) |

And I'm not talking about Internet Spaceships here.
(just had to post in this epic thread )
Nah, they are using PIX-501e's for their wans ;)

Well that's your opinion, and might I add, very small minded. All I did was ask for information on what they are doing? When you get something worked on, do you just blindly say "ok" when it's fixed.. You must be the idiot :)
(1) If you think it is easy to run a multi-platform program much less update w/o problems you are not the computer expert they are looking for. (2) I have 100s of hours of cisco training and 1000s of hours of actual network experience. trust me networks are not plug and go. (3) I would rather them spend my money fixing the issue than updating us on stuff only 1% would understand and even less would be able to coherently respond. (4) you're an idiot.

Do you make it a habit of making an ass out of yourself? I suggest you move on and try to target someone else with that belated arrogance you have pent up inside that small ***** of yours :)
