Thanks, all hail Navigator!
Only affects about half the players.
Yes, because only half are able to get on and the half that is on is getting kicked off. Well said, sir. |

If you look at the Internet Health Report, you'll see this probably isn't CCP's problem... something is wrong at level3... I'm sticking with my prediction of a bad router interface, although they'll never say that publicly |

looks like the most is from the last hop (ccp themselves)
hard to tell but i gotta guess when they say they are having network issues, it really is THEM having the network issues. not the isp paths going to them

I am in the USA, Milwaukee Wisconsin, and the problem is still occurring. I keep getting DC'd from the client every 1 to 2 minutes. The main site and forums seem to be working well. I mention this in case this might be a problem with connection to the USA.
Is anyone else in the USA experiencing the same?

pingplotter/et rest are crap, most of the hops themselves are going to have timeouts, its normal (icmp low priority for backbone elements)
just have to look end to end and find a few of those devices in the middle that are 'ok' for pinging and do extended to them directly

Rollback would be the easiest option. All CCP need to do is restore the server to the way it was before the known server issues set in, this includes game time. I am hoping for this though I didn't lose anything myself.

Are you a network engineer? Have you ever worked at a BB provider? Curious, because when I did, we had to absorb the blame for our upstream providers. Take a good hard look at the IHR - several cores are in the red this morning, that has nothing to do with CCP but CCP must say, "We're working on it." because people pay for their service. I can barely surf this morning... I don't think that has anything to do with CCP.

We initially discovered an issue with the CPU load on the Cisco Switch following downtime, this issue is now fixed, however there is a secondary issue giving us a packet loss on our load balancer. We are working to fix this now and will update you all as soon as possible.

Cool on the Switch fix. The packet loss is more than likely an issue off your network unless someone's been implementing (upgrading) balance code and its not working as intended...
Edit - actually I'm able to log in and get response to databases again (wallet and market)
