I think it is really enoying that alot of you people are taking the **** off the economic crisis, you don't think it will come to you, well your soooooo wrong, this in not just a local crisis, it is global so just you wait until your parents morgages rise and they won't have money to pay for you to play eve.

you idiots..they've announced there's a problem. What game doesn't have a server issue from time to time? But no lets all add to the server load more by going and spamming the forums a thousand times saying "HEy you announced this problem already..but I'm dc'ing and lagging my arse off..what gives?"

Lo there CCP,
Not experiencing any connectivity problems per se ... there's definitely some data leaking going on somewhere with the new
patch. I experienced something similar with another single-server game a few months ago. The problem is particularly bad
when the game transitions from inside/outside stations or between gate systems, or when jumping to a mission etc.
Were there any economy upgrades, or skillset upgrades or worldclock upgrades?

i'll pitch in my 2 cents as network engineer and I'll do a wild guess (don't shoot me if i'm wrong) but from a simple test like PING and TRACERT I think the problem is looking to be your gateway server(s)

So my guess from looking at these 2 situation is its your gateway comming into the company.
now as I don't know your setup I'd simply suggest taking a look at what your gateway's up to... cause he's prolly doing something freacky. Either that or whoever is your ISP (that telecity prolly? )

so i got bought the bourne XBOX game for my birthday. i started on eve the same day and i havent even taken the wrapper off. im off to my xbox while Gordon brown clears out CCPs server farm and flogs it all on fleabay to Russians.

been running eve on XP SP 2 through a wired router since signing up and not really had any issues with lag or dis-connects . . .
until today :(
so whatever the CCP applied changes have been so far today they have degraded my gaming performance here due to lag and disconnect issues.
Going to log off for the day and leave you guys to it; wishing you good luck. Here's hoping you can get it sorted fairly soon and without to-o-o many more flamers adding to your grief.
