Is the Armageddon, or Abbadon any good for ratting in 0.0? just wondering as I want to relieve my main caldari raven maniac, with my Amarr alt a bit.

Depends on the rats, but raven is probably better. But since you want a change, most amarr players rat in harbinger or geddon it seems.

Apoc is great for ratting and due to crystals you never have to go back for ammo \o/ So stop crying noob. |

All the Amarr BSs are great for ratting - depending on the rats you are facing. They are absolutely top notch for ratting in Drone Space. ------------

I am looking for a good 0.0 corp/alliance. Convo if interested. |

I fit tachyons on my domi to rat Sansha. No ammo + crappy 0.0 logistics = no problem.
I envy the guys in their apocs with megapulse IIs. Not only does that setup melt rats fast but you have a non-zero change of BBQing a nano recon. Harb is no slouch either.
Just don't go to Angel, Serpentis or Gurista space and you'll do great.

Armageddon is nice; utility high slot for cloak, plus no problem fitting 3 damage mods + enough tank for rats + even some agility/speed mods.

I like the Apoc for ratting. i would preffer apoc or geddon to abaddon, which is far more expensive and attract more pirates to kill you.
Now i'm considering using a cloaking device in one of my highs instead of a gun (Apoc). The objective it¦s to avoid PvP when you dont want. I have to try.

Apoc or Geddon, as mentioned the badden is too expensive. The apoc is easier to fit with better cap, extra slot in the mid and more range. Geddon gets you more DPS but slightly less utility.

k thanx guys.
I'll go for the apoc. Good ship. It won't beat the raven, but at least my main can take a vacation.

Actually Geddon gets more utility, as it produces all off it's dps with 7/8 turret hardpoints - so you can fit a salvager or a Tbeam...
The big drone bay makes for a lot of dmg selectable DPS, ECM drones for bailing out etc. With decent cap skills and proper fitting/rigs the Geddon is also more than decently cap stable*, fitting 7x Mega Pulses, MWD and LAR II...
Yet the Geddon is more of a Pulse platform, while the Apoc can also perform with beams.
* nothing will outlast your cap. Even Guristas die rather fast to it, and is a decent all-around-non-angels ratting ship unless you have a Raven/Drake around.
