Just to be clear, your saying you seem to have more knowledge than a lot of us about contract law.....and in the same breath, you say you didn't read a contract for this game that you essentially agreed to?
I didn't claim to be a lawyer or an expert on contract law. However I certainly do understand contract law better than all the people saying "it's in the eula therefore they don't have to do anything", because that is simply wrong... My laziness with regards reading EULAs doesn't make one jot of difference to that.
Do you actually dispute my point about UK law overriding unreasonable clauses in contracts?
Its correct...you having not the EULA makes it kinda fecking hard to say that their is a unresonable cause in the contract...you still lose ========= "I am not saying there should be capital punishment for stupidity, but why can`t we just take the safety labels off everything and let the problem fix its self |

Yes.
So if CCP decided to delete your account with no explanation given, just for kicks, you would not complain?
He couldnt since he could no longer post on the forums

Yeah it's only a game but this kind of thing breeds bad feelings. As a new subscriber who paid a week ago for 3 months, I'm feeling kinda peeved. One day out of 8 I've paid for so far I couldn't play!
To the 1/120th month subscription comment guy. Get a life. In the UK the game was down for the whole evening. That's all my potential playing time for a day gone. I don't want 50 cents, I want a free day added onto my subscription. That's the way other services work when they fail. That's the way eve should work.
As a nearly 3 year subscriber to EVE, I am upset that the network problems happened while I was at work and couldn't play anyway, so I demand that future problems be extended to ruin my playtime as well.
