Originally by: Daniel Wells Well, after a few weeks of playing EvE online, I stumbled across this board. I heared about traders in EvE online, but from what I heared about it, it where people that where warping big cargo's between stations for a profit of 5%. This didnt see apealing to me, but as I was bored, I still read through the stickys. I might have been around for a while, but I never really looked into these boards.
After reading it, I became alot wiser, and a world seemed to open for me. The first thing I did, was investing my 10mil ISK, in goods. The buy orders went smooth. I was under the regional average everywhere. Selling, it was a nightmare. As I was working in the same region as Rens was, I got competed with every move I made.
Now I am a competive person, and I like to give it a good fight. But soon, I only had profits of 1%. I know I was doing something utterly wrong, because I still could have been hauling stuff around. So I dove in the stickys again, but without result.
Now, I am making my first topic ever, on the EvE Market Disussion forums. And not one, about me saying I am going to makee myself a bilionair within a month with 10mil, but a post in search for help.
I need a mentor.
Now, I dont expect for someone to come over, and tell me all their market secrets. But the thing is, I find these markets very, very complex. I am operating on the border of Rens and Hek, and really, its tough there.
I am looking for a mentor who have seen it all, made himself some nice ammount of ISK, and is looking for a challeging job inside EvE Online. Maybe you, yes I am talking about you, should make a considering, and making me your adept.
I ain't much of a bragging person, but there are much worse adepts to have. When I play EvE online, I am devoted to the game, and I am willing to put in some effort. I am not becomming a trader because I want some quick cash or anything, and I don't expect it, but I want to make my trades make the time I am doing it worthwhile. At the current rate, I could better go out and mine Veldspar.
The mentor isn't doing his job for free ofcourse. I could give him a ammount of the profit. I am pure looking for a learning experience, not for some quick cash again.
I know the nature of some of the people who are posting here, and I know I will get flamed, but it doesn't matter. I just hope that in a few months, I will be able to make my trades worthwhile. And maybe, becomming one of those self made billionairs in a year, and teach a eager person like myself the ropes of the trading after that.
If you are interested, and up for the challenge, please, send a ingame mail to Thatim Wells or Daniel Wells.
None of both has very good Trading skills of yet, but I could ofcourse train them, or start a alt for it.
P.S: I ain't going to leave the current corp I am in at the moment, I just love these guys. *waves at Phoibe Enterprise*.
1) get EVE-Meep or something that will allow you to determine perfect mineral content / value of modules.
2) figure out what stuff is worth based on Domain mineral pricing regional average.
3) contract said modules to me in a highsec station in Domain, Kor Azor, or Kador belonging to Amarr Navy, Sarum Family, Amarr Constructions, Emperor Family, or Ducia Mining. This station must have a highsec route to Amarr. I will pay 95% of mineral value based on regional average. If it is in a station where my personal standings are less than 6.68, it will either need to be moved, or you will need to evemail me and we can haggle.
This will allow you to earn a greater % than what you would normally get from refining modules, until you get scrapmetal processing skills, standings, and other refining skills up a bit.
If you find some damn good or large volume deals in other parts of space that have 100% highsec routes to Amarr, feel free to send me a eve-mail.
This offer is open to anyone.
