The divide lies in the fact that I have ships "for PvP" in a 0.0 station..and That one token ship "for PvE" in high sec. I'll pay good money to see a PvP fitted Maels or Tempest run Angel Extravaganza LvL 4 and survive through the whole mission. Or even complete it in a reasonable time fro it to be profitable. there is a divide. And it's not in the Players but in the playing styles "I once was blind, and now I see"

And it's not in the Players but in the playing styles Why bother, hit the 0.0 belts and pull that same cash in in half the time, jus thave to find a nice empty system with plenty belts, and if you manage to find an officer/faction spawn theres a nice tidy bonus for you -----------------------------------------------

The carriers abbilitiy to fight was not nerfed at all, the only change they got was Ships in the Ship Maintenance Array could only carry ammunition in there cargo holds as prior to this carriers could fill up with extended haulers and carry a crapload. -----------------------------------------------

(only toying mind).... ;) But yep it is hard to go from mission > pvp and i aint' taking my cnr anywhere near no 0.4 gate let alone below that :)... (point about irony) The problem i have found is that when people look at my ships fitting they flame it.. but for me in pve it works great no losses and lots of faction pointies but i aint stupid and aint taking it into no battle.. some point soon i will buy me a cheap set up and go routing around in low sec maybe even drop my own corp to join a 'trainee' style pvp one... after all isn't pvp what eve is really about (or so im always told) but all in very good post.. will look forward to reading more of your adventure. ps the posts with the various convo's had me falling of chair in laughter
