I have been wrong. The light of clear vision and reason has descended over me. My previous contrary opinions have evaporated like mist in the heat of my epiphanary light. I now know what I must do û I emoragequit too.
I will take the dozen accounts that I donÆt pay for and leave CCP feeling the economic squeeze for that. Zulupark and Oveur will NOT be able to buy two beers per month for MY money.
All the salient reasons have been listed these last weeks, and none more enlightening than in this thread that prompted me to begin my soul searching activity. The journey to this point has been hard, so hard.
But we must face the fact that CCP is in fact a devilish entity that is busy killing cute kittens in the basement, as well as turning the entire staff into inveterate alcoholics. This merely to bend their already weakened wills to the wicked raw ambitions of the suits.
Beer and sour shark meat, those are the tools of evil in this day and age. And cooked sheepÆs head. And even Willy the Killer Whale. Yes, they have killed Willy too. The depths of evil that this company has fallen to are beyond measure.
And that is not all, each year they gather a coven in the bubbling mud pools and boiling geysers of Iceland to further subjugate the innocent and the unwary with more beer, more inedible shark, and more cooked sheepÆs heads that stare accusingly from the pot.
Open your eyes! The cauldrons of evil are overflowing in the lava fields of the north, and Mitnal and Whisper are cackling over the brew. The one sharded Eve to bind us all must be cast into the fires of Mount Hekla at the earliest opportunity!
We, the ragged proletariat, that have fallen victim to this dastardly conglomerate that is spreading its tentacles in the Americas, in Europe, and even in China, must finally wake up.
Now, the final straw, we will be denied even the chance to feel superior to all others who have had a life until now until they were lured into the simmering broth of peril that Eve Online has become.
No longer will we be able to kill the noobs with impunity. Where is the world coming to? When we play World of Warcraft at level 70, we hang around the starting areas and kill the level 1 players, to show the new players our immense and overwhelming skill by one-shoting them. Will this no longer be a viable play style in Eve!? We pay for this game, and we should not risk losing anything! When the noobs have paid just as much, they can open their mouths, but not until then.
I mean, what will we do when we cannot take our nano gangs to 0.0 and kill the PVE-fitted ravens and the hulks, and humorously avoid everything with a chance to kill us?
I also tremble at the shocking truth hidden in the layers of infamy at play here. A dev blog finally puts the nail in the coffin for me. I mean, is it a coincidence that the word ôhellö is a part of the name Hellmar? Is it!?
To face such a fate at such a tender ageà How could I come to this?
Now, the only question left for me to ponder is this one û who wants my five thousand isk and my merlin?
