QFT... i hardly ever salvage my missions. Im glad i have someone to clean up the mess =/.
Kinda like a dorky looking janitor at McDonalds. You dont even respect him enough to say hi to the kid, but he still cleans up your puke after a hard night of drinking =).
Thank you Suddenly Ninjas for being that janitor!

Originally by: Ming Tari Now I know that there are going to be "ninja" salvagers flaming me for this view point but, I know for a fact, that there are thousands of missions run, every day, where wrecks are left in space to de-rez after a turn in.
Originally by: Bud Johnson Probing down one mission and salvaging is alot faster (more profitable) than tipping your space hat and politely launching probes until you happen on an empty one. the loot in the can belongs to whoever scored the kill, the crushed flaming crap floating around it belongs to whoever gets to it first.
No flame here, but the challenge is that using scan probes does not allow us to find wrecks or jectans on scans that we can warp to. If it did (and I have proposed this) then there would be a much greater chance that we could find those empty fields of which you speak.

Bud... I know how it is now, I was just expressing how I think it should be.
Tchell... I see. Keep pushing the proposal. It doesn't make sense for all the salvagers to not be able to salvage all that post mission debris. --------------------------------------------

i have proposed that wrecks-cans remain in space for 6 hours and to make wreck scanning work that after 2-3 hours that wrecks turn to white and end up able to be looted without aggro and then are scannable by anyone with scan probes etc.
Would suit the carebears who get 2 or 3 hours to loot mission and professional salvage-loot-cleanup crews can either risk under 2 hour aggro or go for white wrecks which remain in space for 6 hours.

This comment just gives me a big headache. Most importantly, how are you supposed to tell whether this is part of my post or my signature? |

Yes but how would that MAKE SENSE? The wreck is invisible and then it's not? The law is the law and then it's not? If this were implemented, I would still probe for ships and drones only.

I won't be complaining about ninja salvagers anymore. If someone dosen't have the courtesy to ask me if thay can salvage my mission pocket, then I start destroying wrecks out from under them. --------------------------------------------

You won't be happy to know that we mainly do it for the carebear tears, not for the money. Making you destroy your precious wrecks actually gives us a great deal of amusement and satisfaction. We won't leave after you pop one or two -- we'll stay and make you pop them all!

Um, i do it for the Isk. The tears just happen to be icing on the cake, or makeup on the exotic dancer, whichever phrase you prefer.
Confirming i also make MR's pop every wreck if they throw a hissy fit. So i guess the isk isn't that important as is punishing childish behaviour. I don't want to set the world on fire |

I fixed it for you. It's more "My Deadspace" than it is "your Mission pocket".

Perfect. Now we can watch you destroy millions in salvage and loot which you worked for.
We call your bravado "inner tears."
