Originally by: Darcon I don't normally post on these things, but just for the record:
Our fleet warp was engaged at two distances, some at 30k to the station, some at 40k. Upon arrival the enemy force showed on my scanner (I went in at 30k) at 60k to 70k and were sitting just about 90 degrees to our right on the solar plane. As the fight progressed, enemy battleships left and returned as they could, each time farther and farther away from the station as they seemed to be warping back to their group. It would also seem that during the fight, the enemy forces continued to move away from the station at normal speed. By the time we got bored with wasting missiles and withdrew to get more beer, our forces were still spread around the station at about the same distance they came in, while enemy forces were in a nice tight formation...150-170k from the station.
So, for the record, if "warping in at distance" of 30k from the station and staying there throughout the fight is somehow cheating, well, guilty as charged. Nobody came here to these boards and *****ed about your 280k away, BB boosted damping scorp back at that fight in LS. But what the hell, it did save Cao^2 from losing yet another Raven to us.
Though I won't go into ship loadouts, I will say this: No order was given to load up on dampers. The majority of our ewar ships were doing multispec jammers. If you wanted really wanted to fight, I'm not sure why you continued to move away. We both lacked enough warp scrambling capability, and coupled with the distance neither of us gained a significant kill.
On the bright side, the lag was not too bad for a 25ish ship fight.
I have to admit our fleet did gradually move further away, but this was due to warping back to gang members, who had also warped back ect,ect.. who wants to warp back to the station if your going to be high and dry alone, i think msot people use the warp to gang member, its normally guaranteed to get you back in the fight. and as for moving away at normal speed, this is routine for most fights, u start moving to a planet or moon, so u can stay in the fight til lthe last second then u can warp instantly!

I am solo player and donĘt get fortunately involve in Corp. nor Alliances forum fights however I do dislike characters boosting about their time span of playing and further more about their RL hence my reply.
I fully understand your aggravation and wish you to pod the other site in next opportunity for such lame action of your enemy as describe by Ca0 Ca0.
I further extend my condolences to you flying with Ca0 who not only stood as low mentioning time span and RL as I say above but also honor me with highly intelligent somewhat obscene eve-mail.

I am sure you pirates would rather have "close-in" fights where your advantage in "trained skills" gives you an extremely large advantage over "noobs". Nothing like having the fight your way is there? I see the same thing from you guys all the time. You over-power players with your skills, advantage in modules, advantage in numbers/ships and when things don't go your way everyone else is "coward", "lucky", "using unfair tactics", etc, etc.
SHUT UP AND DIE!

Well lets see here TPS had 11 BS and a few frigs to are 9 BS and yes we had about 4 frigs you still out number us in Fire Power and yet you wine with you cheese about EWarfare. Let me just say this that every major military power in the world uses Ewarfare. Why you ask.
To do what we did to you, shut you down. That is what Ewarfare is all about to shut down your enemy. I was in the military and will tell you that the better your Ewarfare is the better your chances of winning the war.
Now no sence in crying about it if you wanted war your getting it! War is not pretty and certainly doesn't score any brownie points in my book.
I didn't complan when TPS used Ewarfare in LS-JEP on many occations thats part of the game either you us it or you get killed.
As far as last night you out numbered us in local you had more BS and you sit here and wine on the forums cause you couldn't hit the broad side of a barn last night!!! (offers a slice of cheese).
Ewarfare is effective and if you don't use it well you firgure it out!

Man, this is the sadest post I have read on the forums to date. I tried to resist posting, but I just can't. Cao cao, what are you talking about? I was not in this battle, but for a pirate to be whining like this is proof that we are hurting you bad. What a joke....you got dampened so your crying that we're cowards? And to say our frigates have no 'testes' as you say...LOL. We've been killing you guys all week in about any way imaginable. Then to say that we 'don't' have the 'testes' to warp scramble the BS's? LOL....how do you think we've been smoking your BS's this past week? Have you been self-destructing? Man, you guys are lamers.....I thought you had more sense than this ridiculous post. And Cao Cao, we aren't leaving, so you might as well make a good bed in that station, or enjoy staring at the stars from that safe spot.

Just out of curiosity... but if they were using sensor dampeners, why didn't you just close the distance?
Or were you just scared at actually having to go toe to toe with the enemy?
You should take a lesson from the Glaswegians in the world.... get in close and start headbutting.
Or just go out and get drunk.
Either way, it's better than complaining about having to leave the field due to a tactical advantage displayed by the enemy.
