Is it just me or do "Americans" have an obsession with white teeth ?

I acknowlege this is a bit of a rant, but at the end of the day it has to be said that as long as the US takes an unhealthy interest in the affairs of other sovereign entities, the people of those entities will heavily scrutinize the people who elect the government of said country.

However I must point out I am 18, an hence the only America I have known first hand is Bush, through and through Bush. Having looked through American history it has allways been through the view of seeing where it comes to. However, if the USA decides to pull out of the world and adopt an isolationist stance, I can see the EU rapidly expanding to take up the slack, we would of course do things differently, Israel we would probably put on the pressure for it to start disarming and negotiate with Iran as opposed to naming it a part of "The Axis of Evil". Diplomacy only works with mutual respect, I am hopeful that since Obama has acknowleged this the US can go on the path to earning back the reputation it took 2 world wars and the cold war to earn which was spent by Bush and his administration. Again, I am not blaming you yourself, but the people who elected him who must be held accountable for deciding that such people were fit to rule over them. To claim otherwise would be sheer arrogance. tl;dr, USA had a hell of a lot of reality to deal with and a humble one is much more welcome in the world than the one we had before, congrats on the early indications of reconciliation by electing the man who seeks it.

For me, white teeth are unhealthy teeth, and dentists who try and sell whitening to you are poor dentists. Three dentists, when I visited them for tooth pain insisted "You're brushing too hard and just exposing the nerve by pushing the gumline back. That's because many doctors no longer go into it because they truly want to help people, they just want the $$$.
