Seems that if Cosmo gets the audit he is asking for , then there will not be any shares for you to buy!

As of 12:00 December 10 all remaining shares will be purchased by the corporation. We have a bit more ISK than we did when the original post was made and are confident we can invest the rest of the capital needed without disrupting our current operations. This leaves just over 50 hours for anyone who would like to purchase any remaining shares before the the corporation does so.

That seems something of a knee-jerk reaction to the request of an audit - surely you wouldn't object to an audit if a) you can use the additional funds offered by cosmoray b) you have nothing to hide
I'm sure this would make existing shareholders happy and encourage the few remaining people who have yet to decide to invest |

Unfortunately, audits take time, and time is something I don't have. Component BPOs are coming out of research and new BPOs need to go in, ISK is needed to purchase these BPOs in order for the business plan to go on as planned. I would like to get this up and running to allow for the largest possible first dividend for the investors, and the more time it take to get going, the less profit for investors.

That makes perfect sense of course - looking back over the thread you've already had an audit so perhaps there's no reason for that - but a brief inspection with full API key couldn't hurt could it?
You must admit it looks a little suspicious - as soon as you are asked for an audit you close down the offering stating "I don't need that Isk anyhow"
I'm sure everything is above baord, but given the number of scams recently you can imagine how it looks! :) |

If you've got the time, evemail me the api keys and I'll push them into EveMEEP and do the audit myself.
If you've not got the time, or this isn't acceptable, do nothing and I'll spend the money elsewhere.
No hard feelings either way.

An audit to see if you purchased BPO's before a certain date takes about 15 minutes.
I didn't trust this offering in the beginning, and now I trust you even less. As soon I post a question you effectively pull the launch. Now I really do smell SCAM!

Acceding to cosmoray's request would have taken you roughly the same amount of time as making this reply, so unfortunately this does look like you want avoid further auditing.
Auditing
Auditing is something that an ideal securities offering would do: - before launch, before gathering ISK (to substantiate elements of the prospectus),
- on an ongoing basis (e.g., every three months, to substantiate continued operations), and
- at the conclusion of the enterprise (to confirm the success or even failure of the venture, giving the issuer firm ground on which to build any subsequent public offering).
This offering
All this auditing might be a bit much for a tiny offering (which might get by without the ongoing auditing), but here we are talking about 15 billion ISK, surely enough to merit this level of scrutiny.
While Kazuo Ishiguro did do an audit, you can see cosmoray's request as a chance to improve upon that "start of enterprise" report, now that there is more information available to be audited.

Thanks for sending me the share last night, Galligher.
He and I had a chance to chit-chat for a bit. Sounds like it's going to be a lot of good work going on! Looking forward to watching the business develop!
So is CHI buying up the remaining shares today, or are you extending the deadline? --------------------

Can you confirm that the IPO is closed and let us know when we should be expecting the 1st dividend - will there be a payout the 1st of Jan despite the offering running late?

Shares reserved before the date of the corporation buyout are still reserved but the corporation has invested the rest of the ISK required for blueprint purchase. January 1, 2009 will be the first dividend payment despite the delay.

If this is a scam, were the people who gave character references involved in it? If not how did they come to misjudge him so badly?
Madam Squishy Southern Cross Empire "1b Sent. 10 shares. Good guy, Good people are the best investments."
Braendig "Folks, I can say from personal experience that Galligher is an upstanding guy. He worked for my corporation for a period of time and during that period was honest, forthcoming about his private ventures, and deffinately did not hesitate to call me out on my own mistakes (which I have made a few) I know you dont know me from Adam, but I thought it couldnt hurt to give a bit of my personal support. I think he has done his homework on this one, and I have already agreed to provide some investment myself."
I would be intrested to hear what these two people have to say...

do you know those characters personally, what makes their vouchers worth anything? adding both of them to known scammers list if this one does not turn around.

Now this IPO is not yet a complete SCAM. It is pretty close.
The warning signs were huge, I really don't understand why people chose to throw money at this.
MY comments:
1. EVERY IPO for LOW SEC POS businesses in the last TWO YEARS failed or SCAMMED with a total loss of ISK. This is over 100B ISK lost, not 1 ISK has been recovered. 2. Every single experienced CAP production specialist (Xabier, Kazzac especially) had serious doubts about business plan. 3. Reservations were not taken up for many weeks, but OP kept trying 4. When an audit was requested mid launch, the OP suddenly announced that all shares were purchased by the holding corp.
Why after these HUGE RED FLAGS did no-one start asking questions, and maybe think that the OP was looking for some easy money.
Now, many new people on this forum may think that a lot of the old timers are elitist and arrogant, but they do have a wealth of experience. When the old timers start to question IPO/bonds because the offering is poor or suspect they do know what they are talking about.
If you want to invest you need to do some serious checking, and understand ALL the facts about the business.
I don't want new investors come here and lose vast amounts of ISK because people say I have a great plan and you throw money at it. If you haven't asked a question, or not one experienced player hasn't invested you should wonder why!

Do not hide behind excuses. You vouched for someone you didn't really know. So that makes you either a sucker, a moron, or an accomplice. At this point does it really matter? Your word is dust now. PS: That's not a judgment I'm pronouncing. I'm just telling you how it is.
