Just to answer a few questions and set straight a few points made by poetic (actually a fan of the blog, eve needs its tinfoil, and when you aren't ranting about E-UNI your posts are actually somewhat insightful)
* Being part of the Fountain Police (I just made that up BTW) =/= being part of the CFC. My alliance has lived on TESTs couch now for around 2 months, and have held sov for almost a month. We aren't members of the CFC, are not blue to members of the CFC and occasionally shoot members of the CFC. We take part in TEST ops in and around fountain, fleet with TEST bros on roams into non-cfc space, and have fun losing ships to VLAST and Godfathers. It just means a little communication with TEST bros before a fleet starts to let them know if we are going after CFC targets or not.
I'm not saying it doesn't come with it's own complications, sometimes we have minor dissagreements with TEST grunts that come to the defence of Gewns etc in and around fountain, but we just inform them that we are not blue to gewns, and that we have certain ROE that we follow on CFC entities.
* Also being an Ex-Stain resident, yeah, personal logistics to NPC null is pretty darn easy, but try doing that on an alliance wide scale is a nightmare. Some people arent prepared to fork out the prices that black frog charge, convoy fleets of univistas would be slaughtered in syndi/curse, and even in your own stain. How long do you think newbros would last bringing in haulers with the likes of SE and Bab5 operating in the area?
TEST provides a pretty darn awesome JB network + offers JF services that actually DON'T SCAM BLUES (shock horror) at reasonable rates (usually a bit cheaper then black from), fountain is quiet enough to prosper, but has enough roaming entities that there is a decent amount of PVP to be had, and pilots don't become complacent.
So hey I for one welcome our new Univista neighbours, and looking forward to flying with them

So many angry people. Can't we all just calm down, and shoot Polish people in STAIN? "Courage which goes against military expediency is stupidity, or, if insisted upon by a commander, irresponsibility."
