If you could "create" your girlfriend any way you liked it... what would she be like ?
By "create" I mean imagine a person at most "one standard deviation" away from normal, and imagine a kind of backstory of how she ended up the way you want her to be. How old would she be (about your age, younger, older, and by how much), how would she look like (shorter/taller, skinny/plumpy, hair/eye/skin colour), what kind of personality would she have (based on imagined "life experience", and it must make sense), what interests would she have, and why would she even want to hang out with you in the first place... so on and so forth.
Yeah, that DOES mean you can't say "looking like <random supermodel>, genius-level intelligence, rich as hell and loves me unconditionally". You have to be realistic. Pick something like a girl you know or even have dated, maybe even your current girlfriend/wife (if you have one) and "change" a bit here and there to make it more to your liking... if you can't imagine it all from scratch.

Well I make sure she was pre-nerfed so that after a 2 year relationship she'd be the hotest chick on the block and everyone else would feel stupid for not seeing how awesome she was going to be and jealous of me :)
Sorry I couldn't help my help I allready have my dream girl and shes as strange as they come! So if I made a list your asking for it would just be reality, and thus wouldn't fit the theme of your thread :P
No seriously I wouldn't have her any other way.
She draws robots, plays eve, plays video games, hates movies, but loves good ones. (goes for anime/cartoons,books)
She is an artist.
She is adventurous and open minded.
She has great sense of fashion and makes she own clothes.
She builds robots and stuff of of foam!
Her taste in music is the same as mine and we didn't even have the same tatse in music when we meet each other, whever a new band comes out or something we both usally discover the band speratly and when we go to introduce the band or song to each other we've both allready found it on our own!
She is smart, smarter than me. She scares boys away that talk to her (or hit on her) by talking about art history :)
She doesn't mind my history or the things I've lived through.
She tries to understand people.
She knows how to hold down a job, and is very independent.
She loves animals!
She loves sea food!
At night she talks in her sleep! sooo cute!
We almost never get into fights, and when we do they end with us sitting down and listenign to each other and then comming to an understanding. So like where to move, what things to buy for the house blah blah, silly fights like that we can compromise.
We both want to wait to get married and have kids untill were older and are situated in life.
She likes doing graffti :)

Well, you can "summon" any fictional character you want as long as it's realistic (no Wonder Woman, no Supergirl, no Batgirl, no hot terminator android from the future), as long as you can come up with a reason why she ended up with you in the first place, and why she would remain with you at all afterwards.

p.s.( I wasn't kidding about being pre-nerfed, she is soooo pretty now compared to in highschool! yay! Some people just look better when they get older. |

Meh, I'd have two choices.
First choice, based on my current GF (pic is from a couple of years ago, she changed hairstyle and put on about 5kg), with a couple of changes.
Her mother would have to have a radically different character (i.e. be far less annoying and intrusive, as it really rubs off on her), that would be the one huge change... and she could probably use a bit more "restraint" in her character (just a bit too impulsive for my tastes at times - I guess if she would be about my age, so around 3-4 years older than she is right now, that would be almost perfect), but those two things are kind of linked.
I'd probably prefer her as a brunnete instead of blonde (with hairstyle as seen on pic), slightly taller (she barely reaches my nose level), and she should at least try to play online games every now and then (heh, now it's just "waah waah wasting time on that silly thing").
Other than that, perfect. Heh.
Second choice, assuming I would have never even met my current GF at all would be based on a very old flame of mine (we're still friends but she's married now, would probably never have worked with her "as is" anyway). Got no pics of her handy anyway, but imagine something like Teri Hatcher in her "Lois and Clark" days as a baseline (so about 12 years younger than she is now), ~10 cm taller (so around 1.78 instead of 1.68), slightly rounder face and steel-blue eyes.
Other than insanely inopportune timing we always had in RL (whenever one was in a relationship, the other was available and vice-versa) and the "get married with eachother at 30 if we're not already married/engaged to someone else" pact we made (well, she got married just about in the nick of time, heh), there would have been one HUGE obstacle, and probably the only change to her personality I would have made - she's a borderline religious fanatic, and even if we did manage to keep all conversations about it as civil as possible, it always got in the way. So I guess my second pick would be her just as she is, sans the religion.
P.S. Yes I am bored as hell right now and can't sleep, why do you have to ask ?

Honestly the first thing I would want is someone who I could talk to and enjoy on an intellectual level. I want someone smart, at least slightly open minded, and only mildly homicidal "I play EVE, remember?". I also want someone who appreciates me for me.
As for looks I try not to be shallow but if a person weighs 500 pounds it's pretty obvious they donĘt' care about their own well being. I wouldn't want someone obsessed with their looks but if a woman is downright sloppy that's just bad. So I wouldn't say "I don't care about looks", but I try not to be too picky.

Moderate Gamer (or at least respects the gamer lifestyle to a decent extent)
Decent body build, not super model but not someone who will let themselves go
Open to trying new things
Knows how to handle or willing to learn how to handle an insulin syringe (weird I know, but being a diabetic myself its kinda a prerequisite for any potential future girlfriend or wife to know how to draw the fluid bubble free and where to jab me just in case of a problem)

I'm just gonna skip all the bull**** and just get right to it. My perfect girlfriend would be a black hole. Because no matter how you look at it every single one sucks your time, money, and life right into itself and gives you nothing in return.
That is unless you get married to her. Then you get to pay alimony and never see your kids again after 5 years or less.

since im very picky about the people i call friends im even more picky about potential partners
then again given my previous choices im atracted to the crazy type that carries hidden deep flaws arround  
also perfect doesnt exist and im guessing it would be borring and hence not perfect but since that is what im looking for it would be perfect but ... arg infinite loop
luckily however those that fall into the prequisites all come with the right face and body otherwise id still be searching
im very particular about faces aswell
