The forum filters are ****ed and overbearing. I've been warned for swearing in local, which I also thought was lame. Why, then, DOES A MISSION AGENT SAY THE WORD IN THE MISSION TEXT? And I quote: "There's this guy who's making these really, truly gigantic ice sculptures - some kinda artsy , I don't know." WHY THE DO I GET IN TROUBLE FOR TALKING LIKE THAT IN LOCAL IF YOUR AGENTS CAN SAY IT? God damn get your straight. I know, I know. It's more about the hypocrisy of their whole attitude toward it. They're not against swearing but they put on this facade of pretending to be to placate some weird section of their audience who might be offended, despite that section being an extreme minority and that not really being in line with image of the game or the age range it's intended for. Edit: I didn't just bring up forum filters, I brought up in-game petitions as well. If I can drink, smoke, jerk off and ** then I can stomach a little foul language. Or a lot. But avoiding it on the forums is not totally unreasonable since that provides a direct window to the outside world and search engines and it's not crazy to want to not come across as an unwelcoming bunch of corner thugs, too.
