I clone jumped earlier and my system just froze up. I spent 3 minutes trying to get the game to go away. After I was able to get it gone I logged back in. Thankfully I was in my other body on the other side of the map where I was trying to go but still, major bug here when trying to jump. Hopefully CCP can get this fixed, I know other people have had similar issues lately.

yea, everytime I CJ, I have to close down and restart for it to work.....some fix heh

What I think is even worse is this, you have to turn off the skill your training so you can jump. You jump, then it freezes up requiring you to restart the client. That entire time that your wasting in SP just so you can use a CJ. I mean, it's really messed up how long it takes. Also, I've been hearing from people saying that after a CJ their implants go away. They then must log out and then back in to get them back. CCP, please fix this issue soon.

Edit: Submitted a bug report since im pretty sure theres not gonna be a workaround
I'm having this exact problem, have to restart to finish jump and then mod on my ship wont online. Fun stuff.

Same problem here. Furthermore even when I do get modules to activate (switch ships back and forth a few times) they don't show their effects. For example my hulk with 2 cargohold expanders still shows 8k cargohold both in fitting window and in space. Also I can't lock anything. My drones go tearing off and kill rats but I can't lock them. I let it run for 2 minutes and nothing. _____________________________________________

I'm having the Module offline, target lock problem, and the module activation (or seeming lack thereof) problems.
Nice how it makes the game completely unplayable as i have no idea if i'm hitting, what i'm hitting, or if my tanking modules are working properly as it wont register damage on the damage arcs.... ========================================== |

Same here, after CJ -> Restart and problem with modules offline etc without the possibility to correct in Fittings. Another restart did help tho...

same problem here, pretty ****ed since I wanted to actually do something on my day off... UI is pretty much frozen, 3 of my 7 grouped guns were offline after i clone jumped, when i online them i have to relog to them to actually look like they're online and kinda act like they're online. Extrmely fusterating

Exactly the same problem if I knew that this was an issue I would not have CJ out of my +5 clone lose 2 hours on a 9 hour skill. Time for a petition.

I jumpcloned about 30 mins ago from a clone with 4 basic implants into a clone with 5 standard implants and 3 hardwiring implants.
The implants or hardwiring did not appear on the left menu of the char sheet (even after closing char sheet and reopening), and the attributes were showing as the numbers they are without any implants. I needed to logoff and log on again to see my implants and hardwiring mods.
This is just so the bug team knows the problem is still there for some reason. I'll do a bug report tomorrow, need to get some sleep atm!

ditto after clone jump and no working slots... bad thing was I was getting nailed by some rats and could not target and shields showed no damage. I docked then undocked and my shields were gone and into my armor...

Ok, I clone jumped, now I can't fit modules to my ship, I've re-logged, I've repacked them and nothing works. I can't play until this is fixed ccp.

same problem here, I clone jump, witch of course required a client restart, now im in my carrier and none of my modules are working, they wont online correctly and i cant target anything. im stuck here doing nothing for the past 2 days

1st repackage your ship to get all the modules into your items folder.
Then assemble the ship and place all the modules into the correct slots, I know the cap and cpu do not update. Then add any missiles or scripts.
Finally you need to restart eve, then your ship should be good to go.
This of course assumes that you have access to a station to do this

It's a bit of a problem if you've got a rigged ship though, wouldn't you say?
Also: It only works for the current ship. If you change out of this ship and then back again the modules are offline again.
Rebooting the client every time I want to change a ship is NOT desired game play.
Someone in another thread suggested raising a stuck petition and asking the GMs to close your session from their end. That's what I'm about to do. Thread can be found here: Linky

I submitted a bug report but it was closed telling me it had been fixed already in (1.0.2) (which it obviously isn't as I did the clonejump AFTER the patch was deployed). I didn't have the problem before the patch oddly enough, but did after the 1.0.2 patch on Thursday.
I don't know who else to tell so I'm posting here in the hope someone at CCP sees I've tried to bug report it for 1.0.2

The issue is when you CJ and do a restart in order to continue playing, the server has not disconnected you correctly. This then causes the issue with the modules when you log back in. The trouble is no matter how many time you try and disconnect and reconnect the module problem persist.
The solution is the file a suck petition via F12 and state the you need the GM to close your client connection from his end, ejecting you out of the game and allowing you to reconnect correctly.

Just got exactly this bug after clonejumping. I've reconnected my DSL connection, fetched a new IP adress from my ISP, character still bugged.
For some weird reason it works when i use a dialup HSDPA internet connection. o.O

I just had the problem myself with one of my alts where the modules not working after a c/j and restart. i just filed a patition. Hopefully they react fast to the petition and it works.

ever since the second "fix" patch
gripes me the most tbh those two fix patches have both had issues in which are not fixed, same with the QR patch notes...stopp beefing up the notes with nonsense please

Yep, definitely having problems Clone Jumping. When I Clone Jump, The client still runs, but I cannot do anything. The solar system I am in does not change, I cannot set skills, I cannot undock. If I close the client, it hangs and must be "end tasked". This has happened 3 of the last 4 clone jump attempts. One Clone Jump worked as expected. After restarting the client, and logging in, I am in the destination solar system.

Wonderful. Having the same problem. My character is now screwed since I clone jumped. I undock, click an afterburner and I notice that it doesn't show that it is on, even though my speed increases. I click the AB icon again to turn it off and get the message, "10nm Afterburner is already speed boost". You guys is wants to borrows my Metalocalpse DVDs?
At any rate, same as everyone else.. modules are screwed, cant properly load/unload ammo.. pretty lame to say the least. Wasted too much time tonight clearing cache and trying to troubleshoot the client. |

I had the same problem with 2 chars after the last big patch..
Scenario was I would jump clone to another destination into no implants when I knew there was implants waiting in the station there for me. I would start training again at what looked like a reduces rate.
I petitioned this and was told in slightly modified words from the official ccp responce.. When you jump clone log off and then log back in and the problem should be addressed...
It does work but seems like i am the one addressing the problem and not the techs tbh I dont want to log off and on everytime I want to jumpclone

This happened to me on Sunday night too, and when I logged back in the clone jump was complete but all of my implants were gone. I filed a petition and was told by GM Edo that the destruction of my implants was A NORMAL GAME MECHANIC and that I would therefore not be reimbursed for the lost implants. I argued but my implants have still not been replaced/reimbursed and the GM said that they won't be. Needless to say I am outraged! I am not going to drop this though because there's no way that is a normal game mechanic.

Got the same scenario, aggravated by spontaneous offlining of modules. Pretty silly, actually, it's impossible to play until the next downtime, when it resolves. I would very much like my game time reimbursed for that day, thank you CCP.

J/C - Freeze Log back on - in the jump to station Once back in, ships randomly have offline modules - tonights issue, includes being unable to target - continously cycles on target 'countdown'. So I hit my missiles - and the rat is then targeted and starts to recieve damage, but no module activation and/or missile graphics.
when I turn missiles off - I get random error (testing type) messages (i.e. 'shield booster already boosting')
Log into same client software with my alt account - no issues.
Jump clone action is the cause of my characters inability to play right now - that stinks, but I didn't loose implants - so others have had it worse.
'Game Mechnics' as an answer - that's just wrong.

Yup - earlier this week i CJ'd from Empire to low sec and had no problems , but doing the reverse today was a total nightmare - can anyone say system freeze?

after teh "freeze" and cant online mods quit eve and delete the cashe in C:\Documents and Settings\*****\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_ccp_********_tranquility
after loggin back in u can online ur mods and target things THIS DOES NOT! REPEATE NOT! delete ur setings only the CASHE (they are 2 dif folders) all portraits are deleted but thats no problem (not sure bout bm folders)
edit btw most of the lost implants thing is the char sheet bugged due to the cashe after reloggin after deleting the cashe ur implants are back (they never left)

Happened to me tonight.
Clone jumped from low sec to low sec and ship modules wont online or group, ammo won't load, can't target, ...
Log off didn't help and neither did deleting the cache folder.

Well....i didnt had time to read all the posts, so i dont know if anyone had this problem too....
The same problem with the modules hapen to me.... and a couple times now....no problem, u simply check your fitting before u leave the station, but, this time i did the same thing, and after i activate the modules.... i couldnt de-activate, so a mwd...stays on forever... a cloaking device only de-activates if u go near something.... i couldnt play anymore... i'm waiting for DT

Each time I jump clone with this account , the game crashes. Station doesn't get updated , neither can i restart skill training , or enter a ship. I need to relog to resolve the situation.
Now the funny thing is I run 2 accounts from the same client. My first client doesn't have this problem (both clients run on same PC) , but this 2nd client ALWAYS freezes after jump cloning.
I bought myself a new PC recently , and I thought the problem would resolve itself. To my surprise , this situation still exists on my new machine.
So to summarize :
-I run 2 accounts on same PC -1st account lets you jump clone without problems -2nd account crashes each time I jump clone
Any advice?

I get the same, freeze on a JC then a crash. The only way I've found to smooth the process over is to JC when docked in your pod. Leave your ship first.
Works for me fine only when I JC while from my pod, crashes everytime when I JC from an active ship (docked). |

Hi, Same problem here. I performed JC from 0.0 to Jita - client freezed and later crashed. Even more - I was not able to run Eve anymore ! Client starts but nothing happens. I found out that file pc.dat from AppData cache caused the problem. I deleted it and I was able to play however all settings were lost.

I was told by a corp m8 that the way to do it (after experiencing the same thing myself) was to leave ship BEFORE you CJ. That way the modules arent affected.

i have got exactly the sam problem. (my EVE runs on Windows VISTA 64 home premium, intel Q9300, MSI P35 board with 4 gigs RAM) and since a few months always when i clone jump my client crushes. bu today it has been getting worser. the client crashed like every time. after restart eve was running in an window. i ve checked why and couldnt find an reason. so i wanted to restart but the only thing i have seen was the quantum rise screen and loading. this screen is going after a few seconds. then i only have seen my desktop and that eve is running in the task manager. but i cant bring it to full screen. so i have uninstalled eve and installed the new client (just downloadet the new). but the same bug like before has remained. so i think CCP has big troubles with the client. |

I have the same issue.
Thanks for the hint about getting out of the ship prior to jumping.
It seems this bug has been here for a while, guess it has been a long time since I used a JC.

I've just had this exact same problem (crash after jc, offline modules), and restarting the client 3 times did not fix it. Half the ship modules are offline and refuse to come online, and iterestingly, if you turn them online outside the station in space, the first one 'comes online' apparently but does'nt change the icon or consume any cap then the second one reports not enough capacitor to turn it on when the graphic clearly shows a full capacitor
As this is now an old issue, you'd hope ccp would have fixed it by now

The only problem I've been having after Clone jumping is when i'm in my ship and I try to lock on to a target it just stays in the trying to lock on, If I fly back into station the locking on sound is still there. I've lock on once and that was hiting my strip miner and right clicking onto the roid. then all three strip miners came on and I could not turn them off. I had to fly out of the belt to turn them off. I've reset my cashe, I've delete my cashe and still nothing. are we just going to have to wait intell after downtime to start playing again? this is bs

This is happening to me also. Cant do anything ingame but fly around. Its still a long time until DT. This is annoying as hell.

I too have a Probleme when CJ. My game don't freez, but I'm not tranported to the new clone, the camera stick on the former location, I have to quit and restart the game to see my new clone and have the possibility to play
