Hey guys. I've just been reborn as amarr, and I want to rush lvl 1 and 2 missions without having to spend lots of time training before. Obviously I'm not interested in looting/salvaging.
I quickly made a fitting+plan that will take less than 3 hours to be ready: I'm wondering if you guys think it will be good for that level range.
[Coercer, Sniper] Heat Sink I Tracking Enhancer I Tracking Enhancer I Small Armor Repairer II
Sensor Booster I, Targeting Range
Dual Light Beam Laser II, Aurora S Dual Light Beam Laser II, Aurora S Dual Light Beam Laser II, Aurora S Dual Light Beam Laser II, Aurora S Dual Light Beam Laser II, Aurora S Dual Light Beam Laser II, Aurora S Dual Light Beam Laser II, Aurora S Dual Light Beam Laser II, Aurora S
[empty rig slot] [empty rig slot] [empty rig slot]
With the skills I'm planning gets 72 DPS on 47km optimal, with exactly 47km targeting range: I will group the turrets in stacks of two.
My only concern is speed. I don't know much about missioning so... Is the percentage of missions that requiere me to actually move too high? I could get an afterburner but I'd cut my targeting range by almost half, and that sucks.
Ideas?

I've tried a similar setup and you'll kill frigs as fast as you can lock em. You may run into some trouble with cruisers in lvl 2s though, I'm guessing you wont have cap enough to run that rep for very long. Anyway, you wont need an ab to move, there's no great distances anywhere in lvl 1&2s, but it would help you to maintain some much needed range I suppose.

Level Is should be a joke with your setup ;)
Yet I am not sure if you will be able to chew through level II cruisers at all, or fast enough to survive the experience.
Yet this opinion comes with no destroyer or level 2 mission experience since ages ago.
You might also want to try a setup like this for level 2:
[Coercer, Mission Pulse] Internal Force Field Array I Small Armor Repairer II Extruded Heat Sink I Extruded Heat Sink I
Monopropellant I Hydrazine Boosters
Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Scorch S Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Scorch S Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Scorch S Medium Pulse Laser II, Scorch S Medium Pulse Laser II, Scorch S Medium Pulse Laser II, Scorch S Medium Pulse Laser II, Scorch S Medium Pulse Laser II, Scorch S
Shuffle around and replace MPL by DLP to make it fit with your skills. It reaches out to 15ish km with Scorch and does evil close range damage.
The idea would be kill the frigs with scorch while ABing towards the cruiser and then orbiting the cruiser as close as practical while chewing it up with Multifreq.
Normally a DCU is module that should only be fitted to mission ships, in a few specific cases. Yet here it gives simply superior benefits in comparison to the alternatives, providing you with a health hitpoint buffer to GTFO, should a situation get to hot.
Fortunately I do not know of any level 2 that has scramblers ;) Also train for T2 Heatsinks (Weapon Upgrades IV) they are quick to get access to and make a major difference.
Yet a destroyer in level 2s will make your life really exciting in any case :)

load up a full rack of med beams with multi and standard, a cap recharger, a mapc, 2 HS, and a repper to stay alive. i've used this running lvl 1 missions with new corp members. i havent tested it in lvl 2 missions, but i doubt it would be too big of an issue. range is less than amazing, but its plenty. when i used this it had named lasers on it, so i'm not sure if T2 will fit. ---------------------------------------------
I may be a bit over Zealot, but i cant help myself, its the best investment i ever made! |

Heres a little tip: For PVE Xray > Multifreq, because they deal like 90% as much damage but dont consume NEARLY as much cap. It will mean the difference between being able to permarun your tank or not in some situations.
