How long does it take you to earn the amount of ISK it takes to buy a PLEX?
I've personally never used PLEX for my game time. I typically earn somewhere between 500 to a bil ISK per month just doing my normal game playing. IRL it takes me about 30 mins work to earn the 15 bucks for my monthly sub... in game it would take me 10 to 15 hours to earn the 500 mil ISK for PLEX...
For me, I just consider it to be a better use of my time and ISK. I don't enjoy grinding... a lot of what I do (exploration) earns not much ISK most of the time. When I do have that extra 500 mil, I always start thinking about some shiny ship instead of using it for a PLEX. If my income were say, 5 times higher/better than it is now, I would probably use PLEX.
Just curious about others,
Where do you get the money for PLEX...
And,
How hard to you need to work for it?
I already have one job in real life, don't really want another one here.

i have payed for the game by PLEX for like 1 year because of RL situation. 0.0 Rogue Drone regions feed by ISK pretty well.
After RL is returned to normal level i return to use RL money. Just refreshed my 2 accounts for next year. 30 billions ISK will be spent for lulz |

I live off PLEX cause I'm broke IRL. I don't really know how long it takes me since I only seriously grind maybe for one quarter of the month.
On the up side though I should be getting my first paycheck soon so I'll be getting a new comp and prob gonna buy a yearly sub xD

I am back with three accounts for now, had been at one since Incarna hit. It is 50 cents a day per account. That is one less 'snack' that I don't need anyway is how I think of it.

I currently pay 4 accounts with PLEX (3 my accounts, 1 for friend.)
My profit from trading is around 10 bil ISK per month. It's really hard to say how much "work" I actually do. I have EVE running maybe 8-12 hours per day, and since I get automatic notifications about market changes I only need to actually switch to EVE when my orders need updating. (I have no stats about how often I actually do update them.)

Never bought a PLEX. So no idea there.
Got one 5 minutes after logging in from a poor ( ) shuttle on autopilot that was killed on the station. I didn't kill it, just looted it.
I just use my parent's money for EVE. Still a minor, so can't work (legally that is), and the little income I do get goes to other things... cause I am horrible at saving up. |

Damn I really didn't mean it to come out that way... was more just pointing out that it takes far less time for me to earn 15 dollars than it does to earn 500 mil ISK...

I have a couple accounts which I pay for in $$. An hour worth of work pays for both my subs and lunch, I have no need for PLEX. I also earn all of my ISK via playing rather than PLEX. |

After taxes, probably not. Maybe a bit more.
Takes me a bit more than five hours of actual RL work to pay for six months of EVE, after taxes. It makes more sense for me to pay for my sub than it does to grind in-game, even though I make enough ISK in a month of casual play to pay for a single account.

Ok, I'll bite:
- I pay ~$50-60/month for 4 accounts. I won't say how much of my RL income this is.
- I have 2 modest market alts that make ~50M/day for ~1.5B/month. They run ~50 orders each and I update them about once a week.
- I don't expect to make < 100M ISK/hr when grinding PVE content (So ~4-5 hours per plex, ~20 hours/month for all 4 accounts if that's what I wanted to do)
- I occasionally grind a C2 WH in a Sleip.
- I have been known to run FW missions. (Not in a long time)
- I have been known to run L5s in a carrier (Not in a long time)
- I have been known to run pirate L4s (Not in a long time)
- I have been known to do 0.0 anoms and belt ratting (Not in a long time)
- I have been known to do high sec L4s (Not in a long time)
- I have been known to do low sec L4s (Not in a long time)
- I've never seriously run Incusions, but I have friends that claim ~150-200M/hr (neglecting LP)
- I've never seriously done PI. I'm told I can make ~2B/month with 4 moderately skilled alts in low sec. I'll probably invade a C1 / High Sec with the corp and install PI alts with them.
- I used to mine ABCs in Deklein. I won't do that again.
I'd estimate my total worth to be in the 30-40B range and my total "liquid" ISK to be in the 15B range. My PVP war chest is shockingly low right now at 24M ISK.

I pay with debit card in 6 month blocks, so it is only $11.95 USD a month.
Much cheaper than one throw of the dice at the craps table. At least that is how I sell it to the wife... lol.
I occasionally use PLEX for something shiny, but usually grind for ships and mods. |

I have two active accounts that are paid for by buying PLEX with isk. I've been doing that for over two years, simply because my wife works full-time and I'm a house husband 
I make about 4-5bill a week from exploration. I used to earn good isk farming C3 systems, but it gets rather boring since it's very very repetitive.
I'm online for an average of 6 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. I like to find AND buy shiny stuff, so I have about 60b in assets and 8bill liquid. I don't consider myself at all "wealthy" in Eve terms. There are players out there (and botters) who earn 100bill a month without breaking a sweat.

I could just buy a PLEX a month via in game if I wanted to worry about how much ISK i made each hour, week, month but I do not care. |

If you can't afford 15 bucks I seriously wonder how you afford an internet connection, and also think you should reevaluate your living situation... Meaning get a better ******* job or actually get a job. Unless you're in med school, in the hospital or a mother of 8 (Though I hope to god you have some way to pay them chilluns ) I dont see a reason not to have one.
