Aisling Untamo	Posted - 2008.12.04 00:08:00 - [5] It seems CCP doesn't want me to post the petition dialog. I've tried twice now. Ok, here is the gist. I had a Hurricane set up for boosting miners. No weapons except for drones. I was attacked by 'Serpentis Pirates' AKA: System rats. I was 'Concorded' for attacking them. I sent in a petition a GM replied that the game had worked normaly. The GM and I sent sever messages to each other trying to clear this mess up. The GM still stated that the game had worked normaly when I was Concorded for shooting Serpentis Pirates. You got to be kidding me. Since when did Concord start protecting the Serpentis? I'll keep trying to post the petition logs. I think the comunity will find this interesting. This is nuts.

Thereby aiding criminals and getting you concorded. Oh and you're not supposed to be posting GM responses in the first place, why do you think it was difficult? You're circumventing an intended feature and don't be surprised if/when your post gets edited by a moderator.

At the end of the day your the customer and they will eventually give in. If possible, look up your game logs from that "event" and post the log in question here.. It should show your crime if one does exist.. If you dont know how to find game logs then uhhhhhhh... Blame microsoft as now CCP Has made it into WTFLand lol try "My Documents/Eve/logs/gamelogs" and look for the biggest one around 2008.11.22 22:32:00 "20081122_22xxxx.txt" Session changes are what trigger new logs so you'l lneed to open them up and find the correct one.

What if you shot at one of your miner buddies that WAS NOT IN YOUR CORP by accident while trying to kill the serpentis rats? Serpentis would end up on the killmail too, and concord would come concorddokken you. The GM correspondance (which will at some point be nuked - not allowed to post it) is illogical though - you shouldn't get Concordokkened if you "initiated combat" towards Serpentis Corporation.

You must have sent your drones on an non corp mate by accident, it doesn't appear like you had any offensive modules fitted. The sec hit wouldn't come from a rat. EDIT: You may have tried to destroy a mining can/wreck that didn't belong to you instead of using a tractor beam, you sent drones. So the question is...what did you do in the 33 seconds from the successful salvage to the time the confirmation box popped up? BTW, if you disabled those warnings, you won't see the box, but the event is still logged. I think I figured it out, check me if I'm wrong. First, you had the sec hit warning box disabled. Second, your drones were set on agressive and focus fire. Third, you had more than a few wrecks targeted. And the process? Your drones had finished off an NPC, and seeing as you still hard targets, dived in after one of the wrecks, a wreck that had belonged to someone else. I've had my own drones kill drones I've tried to remote repair because it was my current target. It's not easy keeping them in line. Here is in gist what the GM said. I made an attack and the Serpentis Corporation, therefore I was Concorded.

No, I don't have warnings disabled, but in the heat of battle, it would be easy to miss. That much I will give to CCP. But, again I say, I was told I was concorded because I attacked Serpentis. If I had attacked a wreck belonging to someone else, wouldn't that have shown up on the logs??
