I pay using my Debit Card (VISA Logo) this has always been treated as a credit card or a debit card. (I'm in the US). For places that explicity say no debit cards accepted but they accept VISA, my card works just fine. I've never had any issues with it. I hope i don't run into any issues with this otherwise i will lose my 4 accounts :)

I treid what nigni did, and it didnt work for me :( i knoew id tried that before this, i just thought that maybe it was working now. :( :( :(

Its been 11 days since i could log in my main account now, i looked in my questions page, and my questions all have apparently been "solved" according to CCP. If they have been solved its the first i heard of it. Come ON CCP, this really isnt good enough.

Heya. Just keeping you up to date. We are still working on this and you guys have not been forgotten.
There have been some cases of folks not recieving our replys and we are now getting some new issues that state that "IŠve not had a reply in a week etc."
For those of you who are still waiting for a reply (any reply at all) please make sure that our mails are not being thrown away by spam/junkmail filters.
Also, the issues can be read and updated from here.
We are hoping this gets solved soon.
Also, I would like to remind you that this is in many cases happening because of this reasons.

Thanks for the reply anyway Xhagen, it was beginning to look like paying customers (sic) were being ignored there for a while.
I seem to recall that when the Iceland credit card incident occured several months ago, you gave those people affected a "grace" period to allow them to get ingame while the problem was being sorted out.
I think that is applicable in this case, considering the lost training time, and it would go good faith on CCP's part.

Nice to see that you got a result, however your problem stemmed more from dodgy link mechanics than a problem with your card in the end. CCP need to root out the problem the rest of us have still :(

well my account runs out on the 30th, i cant use paypal anymore and my visa cant be validaed, so i guess ill be leaving the game, its a pity when ppl have to leave cos a company cant accept payment!

It has come to my attetion that due to this CC problem, I have been without my alt (SpaceHobo Bobbo) and due to this, I have lost around 680,000 skill points. When you do fix this, will characters get their skill points reimbursed?

Guys anyone wanting to pay for your account with Visa Debit cards you can do. I currently pay using paybycash.com/paynova.com combo. This allows me to pay using my visa electron card quite easily. It took less than 15 mins from making a payment until I was able to log in.
I understand that this is far from ideal and that ccp once again dont know what they are doing. Visa debit/electron/delta are all authorized by visa in the same way credit cards are. That comes directly from visa and seeing as they are the people that do the authorizing they should know. Like has been previously stated its all down to the billing software ccp use not being set up correctly.
One last point, why oh why ccp have you not set up an account with paypal so that people can pay via that if they want to?

I think its something to do with having two accounts. I was having trouble paying with visa debit card too so i just kept on trying different ways and eventually it worked but did take a good few goes.
Just keep trying is my advice.

Has nothing to do with 2 accounts. New users are being bitten by this bug as well. It took me 3 days of clicking the stupid Submit button before it authorized my account. My *first* account. As in I couldn't even look at the game until this was made.
And to top it off, I couldn't even ask for help about it since CCP requires an active account to post here. Quite the catch 22.

I've got a "debit card" VISA premium, up to 1500euros a day all over the world. Except for eve online...
I got same issue :

A friend of mine submit me the idea to pay with his american express which work with eve (his card usually not work online except on amazon.com) ! But i will not bother a friend for a game.
I'm gonna explain why this issue is happening, just in case ccp would be interested (what i don't think so).
For most euro VISA cards, since something like 1 year, you need to enter a control number written behind the card. So to be clear, you need : your credit card number + exp. date + a 3 digit number written behind your card.
Eve-online do not ask the 3 digits (all other paiement systems online ask it) so the paiement isnt accepted, of course...
And please do not answer me : "just use a credit card"... Because i don't need to buy things with "credit" !
