LMAO... in my own experience, the pirate rarely emails the victim. It's usually the victim who emails the pirate with some rant about how they've got another ship and they are going to come looking for them... or sometimes that varies into an "I've got powerful friends" rant. Lastly... wtf? You don't consider ganking at a gate to be piracy? Only people who go roaming looking for other roamers in combat ships? Remind me... when you look in real life history, do you see pirates targeting military vessels or do you see them targeting not well defended vessels that they can quickly gank with minimal risk? Op surely is a troll... hard to believe anything else.

PvP requires two active combatants. If you're in a hauler with no escort, its not PvP, its PvE, with you being an NPC (Numbnuts Packing Cargo). They're not fighting, they're farming. In the event of an emergency, my ego may be used as a floatation device.**
