The people who go around calling themselves pirates are full of **** they're just pvp players who are to lazy to pvp. Real pvpers go out and fight people these 'pirates' thinking they're long john silver or something sit at gates and ambush people then pod u right in your face. Thats not pvp ambush barges and transports if I was in a battleship I would kill all of them. Then they mail you and call you humiliating things thinking their such cool bad guys in reality they dont even know how to play the game! If you really knew how to pvp they would 1v1 face you but they don't you know why? because they can't! and they aparently think its fun to hurt people, it IS NOT funny **** off you scumbags

The definition of a real life pirate is not some bloody navy seal who faces off against other fighters... Its someone who takes advantage of an easy target to make a profit. Your argument is silly.

I love fighting outnumbered.
But if you jam me, so help me god, I will find you alone and kill you. you will be harrassed until I get bored.
That's also a feature I love about eve. If someone ****es you off, you can chase them across the galaxy, and only the person your chasing and his friends can stop you.
TL;DR : Grief the S*** out of those who kill you, or act like F******. You will feel much better and you wont make posts like these on the forums.

A pirate is not a guerrilla. Some lowsec wanderers are guerrilla warriors in this respect, seeking out battles that they can take advantage of in their favor. One player or group of players versus another whereby one side comes out on top. The OP actually got in right... sorta..
Pirates ARE just pvpers.
They ARE preying on the new/weak/the out numbered.
That's what piracy IS.
Once you realise that the "Pirates" that are blowing up your ships are are just playing the game another way, you'll not be so mad at them.
Do you get ****ed off when in PVP in 0.0 the opponent jumps you with more ships then you have and you get blown up? Yes? You shouldn't. That's tactics.
"Piracy" is the same thing. Just instead of haveing them set to red due to some past bad experience or diplomatic huahh, they BLINK RED telling you they are BAD PEOPLE and should be avoided/blown up.
You got blown up by "pirates".
Why did you let that happen?
Did you go into lowsec/0.0? What did you expect? Unicorns, and happy clouds?
This is a ****ing PVP game. Every single aspect of this game is you vs everyone else in the game. PVP. PLAYER VS PLAYER.
Once you learn this you'll understand that those ebil piwates aren't bad people. They're just playing another aspect of the game.
Get over it. Adjust to it. Learn to deal with it.
It'll make you life in EVE easier.
I've been +5.0, and I've still got a few alts who're -10.0, and i'm slowly heading back to +5.0.
PVP is PVP.

You know I never did trust those history books in school.
Very few of the pirate stories started with "<pirate name> attacked a Spanish War Galleon". Plenty of them end that way though, which is rather interesting. It must be some sort of conspiracy. Next you'll be telling me the native americans didn't live happily ever after with the colonists.

Pirates are predators, if they lose ships, it is not profitable, so they look for prey like the OP. It's kill, loot and yarrr.

Omg, you are trying to say that pvp is pistols at dawn good sir. That's arena combat.
Even solo pvp is all about getting the first shot off, let them panic as you overload guns. Surprise attack is always good.
