Needed: Large alliance or corp to re-populate Solitude
Pro's: Lots of moons to mine, missions to run, roids to pop. friendly neighbors in syndicate that will be willing to protect you while you run your mission in navy ravens

Seriously what isn't needed in Solitude? That place is such a pit. Only region in Eve where a "prefer safest course" from High Sec to another region's High Sec takes you through nullsec.

Sarline/Aeter/Harner, the triangle of solitude low-sec, could really use some people, use to be awesome, pretty much dead now, moved out to Syndicate

It reminds me of the old Pete Seeger song 'where have all the flowers gone', except replace flowers with pilots and you will know the plight of Solitude.

I was in solitude the other day and was greatly confused by the whole highsec island connected to empire by a bit of 0.0. IS there no highsec route at all??

Yeah its 0.0. or low-sec to get there.
Great level 4's, lag-free and no can flippers was the attraction for us back then, but the island of Solitude is pretty dead these days. The last two 'reasonable' alliances have packed up and gone. Still nice to see NOTR patrolling from Yvelet towards empire like when we were there.
One thing that did suck was when drunk and wanting to go to empire it was too easy to forget the short route went through YJ3 and it was usually camped. Good times.

Yes, someone please move into Solitude, my ammo sales are down 38% in the last 6 months alone...though my Orcas are selling within 6 hours of coming off the line!
Also, be sure to wave at LeSkunk as you fly out of Zinkon towards Agaullores, he likes to hangout around Hier and greet you as you move about Aridia. A gentleman among corsairs.

not since we setup shop in aridia he hasn't. See him and his alts camping vehan from time to time but can never catch him in space.
