EVE Online: Quantum Rise 1.0.3 will be deployed this Wednesday, 10th December 2008. Tranquility will be down from 11:00 GMT to 15:40 GMT for this patch deployment.
Quantum Rise 1.0.3 focuses mainly on dramatic improvements in our Need for Speed initiative which will result in substantial improvements for large scale fleet battles, small gang warfare and large populations in trade or mission hubs. This patch enhances the client in many ways allowing for a much smoother game play experience for everyone.
Patch Notes are available; updates to the notes may be added should any further items be cleared through the Quality Assurance process. These updates will be highlighted with green text.

Our deployment window each week is Tue, Wed and Thu. We aim for Tuesdays to deploy as early in the week as possible but in the end it depends on where we are in process what day we pick.

We will test the Steam version, as always. Last time there were issues with the Steam it turned out to be a problem created and fixed by Valve.
