"Thank you for signing up for EVE Online! Welcome to the community."
During my trial, and the time I was supposed to be working at work, I've been reading the guides on these forums.
Just wanted to say thanks to those who write them, and say hello to the flametastic EvE community.
See you in space Fly safe

welcome to eve, i remember i did that very thing while i was at work. i read so much on eve that when i started i had some idea of what to do.
suggestion tho, work on cruisers/bc's before you jump towards bs. it helps ALOT. hell get t2 cruisers before you even skill up battleship 1

I've already set up my 84 day skill plan in evemon to get me going on all basic ship skills and weapons/drones to make a nice vexor drone boat.
As much as people say it, I had no intentions to train learning skills until evemon told me it would save me 93 days, lol...
Thanks for the tip.

I'm always against telling people to put off getting a battleship. If that's what you want to fly then go ahead. They don't take that many skills to fly, and as long as you use it for its intended purpose (not a giant cruiser) you'll do fine. Just keep in mind every ship has its limitations.
If you ever think you'll want to pvp start as early as possible. Train propulsion jamming, get a frigate, and begin the murders. Hopefully they won't be your own.

Welcome to EvE! I'd recommand joiing a Player Corporation once you have paid for teh full game, some may take on trial accounts. Just look for a corp that suits your needs and don't become a slave to their needs
Note* Shameless plug but yes we are looking for new and old players, look us up in game

Perhaps you might be able to take a look at my other thread, If i were to pvp in a frig early, I would definitely need to swap some of my skills around. If you have a few minutes, would you mind taking a look and telling me what I could do to optimize my time for pvp?

welcome to eve harmsway.
please do not end up like most new players and blame the lack of player knowledge of game mechanics on the game, and then leave.

Lol, yes it seems pretty common. I'll take the time to figure out how stuff works before I start complaining about it
