Where is this great EvE internal affairs department? A response by CCP is needed now!
This game is starting to look like one big joke.
Repeatably locking threads which don't specifically state the procedure for abusing reactions just makes CCP look like they've know about the problem for 4 YEARS and are now trying to bury it under the sand and hope it goes away.
Its not going to go away, if you don't respond someone is going to keep opening a new thread for as long as it takes for CCP to make a statement.

They can lock it all they want, it wont make the issue go away.
They can't moderate all the EvE forums out there and it's being discussed freely all over.
They need to make a statement and come clean about the extent of the damage done or people will just make up their own minds and assume CCP guilty of looking the other way all this time.

If the exploit is fixed.. dunno what the big problem is to talk about it, right?
I dont know what the exploit was, nor do I care. I just want to know how it affected T2 prices as everyone is saying.

Certain resource(s) used to manufacture T2 were being produced for free without the required moon minerals to produce said resource(s).

No, it shows that CCP follows their forum rules. Mentioning exploits at all will get your thread locked, regardless of content. Again, ibtl.

As just an everyday player not in a big alliance or anything just someone who puts his SP and ISK to good use to make more ISK I would like to see this handled swiftly, harshly and transparently. Love the game but have little faith in CCP due to how they treat their paying customers. They need to do something that shows they are in control of their game and actually care.

If the problem has existed for four years and someone was recently banned, then they will have to address it at some point. There are several references on other websites not controlled by CCP that explain how to do it. My guess is that they will try and bury it, but it won't go away since they can't censor everyone.
According to the page I read it is simple to do and people are only mentioning it now since CCP classes it as an exploit, but has never mentioned it before. My bet it that a very large number of people have been doing it for a really long time, but now with bans they are making sure everyone knows about it.
I bet we see this on slashdot by close of business today.
