Believe me, at no point in the whole thing did anyone think it might be a bug. It seemed weird but once you've been playing this game for a while, you know that there's no limit to the kind of loopy things people try to do. The idea that we could think 'hmm must be a bugged pos, we should petition it for them' is laughable. Nobody would ever do that.
