Why is everything Caldari so ugly? The ships look like junk and their stations?
Are they supposed to be the vandals of the future or something?
Just seems with only 4 major races to choose from, why have only 3 that have some asthetic appeal?

The Caldari favor function over form. We Gallente widely regard this as a bad move. That is why we kicked them out of our system.

I actually quite like a lot of the Caldari ships myself, especially the newer ones and the capitals.

Dude, eye candy designs is imo weird in space, whats the point of you ship to look pretty??? :P
Caldari design is functional and with the focus of effectivity.

Caldari have the most advanced technology of the races (according to lore). Besides, have you seen Minmatar ships and stations? The old joke was that a key construction component for their ships was this.

Yes, they have the best tech and they are for the most part the better ships, but why oh why do they have to look so hideous?
Couldn't some graphic artist take a little more time with them?

That's why when I go to boy bars I wear a patch, the regulars love it!
(Consequently though, I blame it on the photographer who took the pictures for the official CONCORD database while I was squinting)

I don't find hardly any of the Caldari ships ugly. Matter of fact, it is the style of the ships that made me want to fly them. They are not symmetrical from bow to stern which makes them very unique to look at.

Come now, there are plenty of Caldari ships that aren't Moas or non-premium Ravens.
Gallenteans, on the other hand, will never be able to shake off the shame that is the Exequror-hulls, Dominix-hulls, Moros, Celestis-hulls.
