i like the moa, the raven, the scorp, the kestrel, the heron and the merlin hulls.
the classic graphics gila has to be my favorite hull in the game. (green camo ftw)

They have betrayed aesthetics for functionality.
However I really like the Falcon, color texture and form, and sometimes don't want to leave it. Ravens are ok looking and I got used to the crow and merlin hulls. But anything with caracal/moa hull and all the drakes deserve to be put out of their misery as soon as you see them

theyre should be ship skins "designs/paint" that u can mod a ship with 4 ISK...
And the stations of the Caldari look like dead birds. The models for the ships arnt bad, its just the textures and windows.

different people, different aesthetics.
Personally, I love the Caldari style. Reminds me of ships like the Sulaco, the Pillar of Autumn, the Nebulon-B, the Daedelus BC-304 or the Roger Young.
See also the ships of the Alliance from Firefly.
Seems to me like Caldari-style ship designs are pretty popular.

The reason for their ships unique appearance is becouse of caldari shipyard security. Caldari ship building is so secret, no member of the design teem, for any one ship, knows what anyone else on that teem is doing.

so many fugly ships. I don't know where to start. Caldari do have some really nice looking ships though. Zee ROCK, Kestral, Pheonix...rest are ok or fugly.
Best looking ship ingame to me is the Mega :D

Caldari ships look like real spaceships.
Amarr are a close 2nd

I used to agree with you on Caldari ships and stations looking ugly. That was before I set eyes on the Premium version of EVE Online. Now I absolutely love their looks.

Generally speaking Caldari ships have slightly better shield systems and typically in exchange for other trade offs, such as speed and armor. Anyways, I don't think most Caldari ships are necessarily what I would call ugly. However, I believe you would be hard pressed to find someone that doesn't think at least 1 Caldari ship got hit repeatedly with the ugly stick during its design phase. Probably the biggest problem with Caldari ships, in my opinion, is the lack of symmetry and seemingly pointless way in which some of the ships were assembled. Take the Moa for example - from both a functional and aesthetic standpoint, it really makes very little sense to have that thin arm and giant panel sticking off the side. Aesthetically, it looks like a mad scientist welded it together for no apparent reason. Functionally, this design choice would provide an extremely vulnerable target in combat - once your shields are down, a single well placed shot could effectively sever any systems in the arm from the rest of the ship and cause severe structural damage that would need a little more than an armor repairer to fix.

It's a craptastic ship if you are speaking function, but I think the Ferox is probably the best looking Caldari ship, aesthetic wise.

The shape, the colour, the brutish look..... yeah, you all envy it, you just won't admit it!
The sound of those cruises leaving the "tubes" combined with drones ripping through frigates and alike.... a hellish ship.
